Stellars….
While searching around the rocks near a tidal pool in Margate, a man came across a small shark stranded on the rocks with no nearby pools of water. With the day getting hotter and the sea around 700 meters away across sharp rocks, he decided he couldn’t leave it behind.
Charming Cliftonville, in Margate, County Kent, England…

Good mornin’, Lucille. All I can think of when I see these brightly painted houses is that they must not have an HOA! Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good day, Texan! The brighter, the better…which, of course, applies to much of our earthly existence besides houses.

An excellent Friday to you, Stella!

Too cute! “Naughty doggie!” It almost seemed like it looked at him when he finally put it back in the ocean, kind of like a “Thank you.”

Good day, aus! Love the part where the guy was petting the little shark’s head.

Good mornin’, and happy Friday! While our friends in DC can’t walk and chew gum at the same time, we’re not like them. We can, and here’s how we do it! Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Is it teal, or turquoise?

Closer to turquoise, I think. Teal would be darker.

Good morning, Tex! That’s my favorite color. I have an electric kettle in that very shade.

Texan, I’m mighty partial to these full service breakfast units. Now, only if they’d make one with a coffee pot set-up on both sides.
Mugs to go with….

Mornin’ Wee! I wonder if squirrels are their main source of protein.

I would say eeeew, but squirrels were/are something local rural hunters bring home for dinner.

None for me, thanks! Mornin’ Czarina!

Squirrel hunting is a lot of trouble for such a small return of meat. It’s like eating rat, too, only cuter.

Morning, czarina! Macadamia nuts are delicious, and healthy. I’m in favor.

Yay for wildlife.
I don’t know too many lazy moms.
Food banks are for helping people who really need it.

Good day, Czarina! Lazy Moms’ Day? Ridiculous!
Macadamia nuts are the best in dark chocolate. YES to spice blends without sodium; to food banks–especially those run by churches; to wildlife…here’s a bat-eared fox found in parts of Africa…

Afternoon All. Can’t believe I slept in until 10:30 without even waking up. It was cool last night and is still cool inside this morning. It rained again. I had to put on my fuzzy lined pants that I wear all winter. Of course, it is about 66* inside right now and only 54* outside.
My oldest granddaughter has just about finished her doll dress except for the snaps on the back and a small flower she wants to put on the neckline in the front. She has done very well with it. Of course, she is 11 and can read and understand really well so she could follow the instructions. The middle granddaughter, 9, is struggling a little bit with the sewing machine stitching, but it is coming along. The youngest, 6, is sewing by hand and what I noticed is that her stitches are getting more even and closer together. So, our little classes are making a difference. I am very pleased with them.
After we finished sewing, we played card games. Playing cards with youngsters is more animated than playing with old people like me. LOL
Hope you are are being careful and ready for the weekend.

I just turned the TV to the District Atty making a statement. There was a woman standing back behind him and she was shaking her head “no” the whole time. I wanted to grab her by her scarf and smack her. Even when he was thanking people who worked on the case, she was shaking her head. Even when he said this was about the three dead children, she was shaking her head. Glad I wasn’t there standing near her.

Confirmed, Krakatoa is erupting right now, for about 3 hours, and has generated a pyroclastic cloud with tops below -70ºC, which suggests it has reached the tropical tropopause (14-17 km altitude).
It’s not extreme, but it is a very significant eruption.
