    Posted by Diane at Maine Coon Capers on September 1st.  I’ve followed her for years and don’t usually post long videos (this one is 17:14 minutes).  I’m not sure if this was videoed on 9/1 or 8/31, as most videos are delayed to give time for editing. However in this video she does mention it is Tuesday, September 1st. 

    The purpose of my posting is that I wanted you to get a glimpse of what Diane and her kitties are like and also see some of Diane’s folk art.  She is self-taught and has a number of her works hung on the walls of her Nova Scotia home she shares with her husband, The Cat Daddy.  

    Also, I’d like to ask all of you Stellars to pray for Diane.  Later in the day on September 1st, Diane unfortunately had a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital.  She was able to post the following on September 3rd:

    “Hello Everyone!! I wanted to give you an update on my situation. I’m feeling much better today but have to stay in the hospital until I can have a dye test done. Unfortunately I’m on a province wide waiting list. I met with the cardiologist this morning and he said that I have a blockage in one or more of my arteries and that the front of my heart has been damaged because it wasn’t receiving blood. If this is fixable I will either have a stent put in or it’s something I will live with and take medication for. 

    “I want to thank you so much for your care and concern; it really means the world to me!! Hopefully I’ll be home soon and we can continue on with our Catio Chats!!

    “Bye for now and please feel free to message me!!

    As of today she is still in hospital awaiting the dye test.  

    Prayers for Diane and her human plus feline families are most appreciated.
