That’s a different map than I’ve seen before. This one seems more accurat than the others that show gazillions flying right over our house that I never have seen in 20 years at the same place. Now, I’ll just have a bunch more dove at my feeders that are hiding out from achieving their destiny! 😀

Morning czarina. I love meat pies from every culture. Fancy French, Cornish miner’s, or more exotic. We have a Latin restaurant here with empanadas I love.

Quick Homemade Ketchup (no HFCS, no GMOs):
• 1 small jar (6 oz) tomato paste
• ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
• 2–3 Tbsp maple syrup or honey (to taste)
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ¼ tsp mustard powder
• Pinch black pepper + optional cayenne
Mix until smooth. Stores in fridge for weeks and tastes way better.
Throw out the Heinz. Make homemade instead.

Good Mornin’ All. It is chilly, 54*, and mostly overcast right now. I think we did get some rain last night. I am having to close the windows that I had had open all summer. I needed to turn on the lights in the apartment, it was so dark inside. Loki went outside and did her business, came back in and ate her breakfast, and is now taking her early morning nap.
I just noticed that hurricane Lowell was out by Hawaii. I didn’t realize that was where it was. Prayers for the Hawaiian people.

He also mentioned a voter fraud investigation in Michigan that was purposely shut down by the Biden administration. Trump tasked the DOJ to reopen this case.

I don’t know whether or not you like brussels sprouts; I do, but I usually roast them. The oven is otherwise busy, so I tried a method suggested on the bag the sprouts came in. Not
the healthiestlow calorie, but delicious! Melt butter in a skillet with some oil, and put trimmed sprouts in the butter with some salt. Add a little water and cover. Simmer for a few minutes (check for doneness). Add CREAM and Dijon mustard (you judge how much). Simmer a little while, then eat!LikeLiked by 1 person
