The multi-millionaire Hamas leadership cares nothing about the people who live in Gaza. They even objected when Israel set aside a Gazan area for the people to flee to when they are warned their neighborhoods will be bombed. Envision if you will what the auto industry is going to look like 10 years down the road. You have about half the dealerships exiting certain makes and models because they don’t want to spend sacks full of money to jump on the EV bandwagon, and current EV inventories are climbing because people have caught on to the scam.

I have a solution for all those abandoned or unsalable EVs…donate them to the Salvation Arm or some other charity for their homeless encampments, with a use-preference for U. S. citizens down on their luck because of the Biden Administration trashing our economy.

Not where I am! We get one every four or five years, and that usually a couple inches, gone in hours.

Normally here we get our first snow after Thanksgiving. We have had light dustings, but it is abnormally warm and rainy here for this time of year.

When I was in high school, a local business hired the Glenn Miller Memorial Orchestra, and I attended with a school friend. We danced the night away, and had a great time. That was maybe in 1965?

What fun! Something you’d never forget.
I once worked with a gal who as a 1940s high schooler was able to go to a number of Benny Goodman performances at big venues on the east coast and they danced until they dropped.

Afternoon All. Dismal looking day here. It is -2C (?) and feels cold.And, it is overcast gray. Last year, it was overcast with a white sky. We had snow on the ground from the beginning of November all through the winter. This year, we have had several snows, but they all melted after a few days.
I guess I will spend my day loading up my car with things to donate. I had sorted a lot of things and now need to get them out of here. Then, after the first of the year I can put away the Christmas decorations.

Reading your post, aus, this song popped into my head and I discovered this unusual video….
Seeing Johnny’s ease with the horse caused me to look up his background and I found this: “He had loved riding horses since childhood and as an adult lived with his family on a ranch in Houston, where for years he also managed rodeo shows at the Johnny Nash Indoor Arena.” Another one of those “who knew!” moments.

Some woman in Chalmette, a suburb on NO has filed to have him removed from Louisiana’s ballot. I am offended that these people plan to interfere in my ability to choose who I want to represent me, like I am too stupid to be allowed a free slate.
