I love the fall colors in these photos, Lucille. Our fall is pretty much over. The huge birch forests of the Kenai Peninsula were brilliant yellow for weeks this year, but now most of the leaves have fallen and there is frost on the grass almost every morning. Skies are consistently gray (except for yesterday, which was gloriously sunny!) and the wind sweeps over us. Now it is a quick slide into the darkness of winter, and an all-white landscape that will last until April.

Good day to you, Tundra! Many states have these lovely fall colors. Idaho does, too, in some areas. There’s a lot of pine forests, though, and they stay the same color year-round.
Btw, there’s poetry in your post. A little re-working and you may have a beginning of a new hobby.
I’ve got lab tests today and I’m not looking forward to one where the requirement is to be on my back for 15 minutes with nothing under my head. Causes sort of a gag reflex. Life!

Woman selling flowers in Florida….
(The older partially disabled man you will see in the black t-shirt is in several previous videos. He was homeless until assisted by the young man who hands out the cash provided by donations to a Christian street ministry. The young man always talks to the people about their situations and then prays with them before they part.)

I read a little about him and found a movie (hour-and-a-half that I don’t have time for right now) about his defection that could be pretty good. He lived only until 54 and died from aids, but what an athlete and performer!

Good afternoon, Miz Wee! That’s the most unusual grave I’ve ever seen. Wonder if it’s something he thought of. Maybe it has something to do with his Tatar ethnicity. Did you know he was Muslim? I was quite surprised when I found that out.

Afternoon All. It was 32* when we got up this morning, but sunny and a clear sky. I got in the car and then realized I couldn’t see anything for the thick frost on the windshield. LOL. What a shock. Hadn’t seen that in 12 years. I was glad I had a scraper and a brush.
I went to a chiropractor. It turned out he is only about 5 min from where I live. I just go to the end of the road, get on the freeway and get off at the next exit and go a couple of blocks and I’m there. No traffic, no nothing. I like him, so I hope he works out.
I had to get up early today, and Loki must not have been ready to get up. She usually does zoomies while I am getting dressed. She just stretched out at the bathroom door and went back to sleep. LOL

Afternoon Mom! Do you have a remote start on your car? It’s an essential tool up here for those without a heated garage (which was me for my first 20 years in Alaska). The night before you have to go somewhere in the morning, be sure your windshield defrosters front and rear are turned on and on full blast and full heat. Then 20 minutes before you need to leave, start the car remotely and by the time you get in, the car is warm and the windows are clear.
Up here, all the vehicles also have plug-ins hanging out the front grill. If it’s below zero, we plug the vehicle in for at least an hour before starting it, to warm the oil pan and the engine block.
If you don’t have a built-in remote start, they can be added to most vehicles as an after-market for not much money. Numerous companies offer the service. Worth every penny.

I have to laugh. I have a Southern Car. And, it is a 2006 and doesn’t have a remote start. And, no heated seats. No snow tires (which I can’t afford to put on). I don’t expect to be driving in the snow anyway. Oh, yes, I have been told it is a rear wheel drive, so not good for snow. I don’t have to get up early except on Sunday so I guess I just won’t worry about it.

Perhaps he got some sort of “dispensation” similar to the one given to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. She not only married her gay brother (for which she was outed but never received a seconds’ worry about being prosecuted) but she’s now married to a Jew! What would Muhammad say!

Geoff, PayPal has been giving grief to various conservative folks for much longer than this most recent outrage. An acquaintance of mine, now deceased, was a fine Christian gentleman and pastor who somehow got on the “wrong” side of some issue with PayPal. He was one of their earliest customers and was very surprised when they cancelled his account.
When they dropped him, I dropped them. It’s good that they are getting their comeuppance.
