Day FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTY-EIGHT of Presidential recovery.A last tribute to Dolly. She has already been laid to rest beside her dear husband in a private service. This seems appropriate.

    Rescued Chameleon Gets Attached To a Work-From-Home Dad named Bruce Ireland who works as a professional snake relocation provider in southern California.

    A chameleon was found wandering around in a southern California neighborhood.  Bruce was used to unusual rescue calls, but a roaming chameleon was a first. Once he took charge of him, Bruce named the creature “Max.” From then on, Max never wanted to leave Bruce’s side. While Bruce’s wife was at work and his children were at school, Max and Bruce ended up spending a lot of one-on-one time together. Dodo editor Brielle shares the rescue Bruce says he’ll never forget.

    Happy Sunday everyone. I’m looking forward to soup and bread weather, even though there’s no hint of fall here yet. After having a most excellent gnocchi meal on my recent vacation, I have decided this will be my first soup of the year. Oh man, how I love the fall soup lineup. Always fun! Now all I need is a cool, crisp day!

    National Beach Day – I would say end of summer and you are running out of beach days, but I lived on the southern coasts most of my life, and there are always beach days
