COMMON SENSE FROM AN OLD COWBOY . .
Keep skunks and bankers at a distance.
Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.
Words that soak into your ears are whispered . . . not yelled.
Do not corner something that you know is meaner than you.
When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty.
The best sermons are lived, not preached.
The stuff people worry about ain’t never gonna happen anyway.
Don ‘t interfere with somethin’ that ain’t bothering you none.
If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin’.
If you get to thinkin’ you’re a person of some influence, try orderin’ somebody else’s dog around . . .
Don’t pick a fight with an old man.If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.
Final Dolly post today. Enjoy!
Have a great day!

You’re welcome, Czarina! I’ve subscribed to Grandma Feral’s channel for a number of years. Found her through The Lucky Ferals channel which is run by her daughter and follows the antics of a bunch of formerly feral kitties who live with her.

Delightful.
Czarina, thank you. That’s the word. And thanks to Stella, too for bringing this back.
Jim Henson was a very special man who made “Kermit” come alive. Shari Lewis and “Lamb Chop”, had that same special touch. Such a remarkable way to reach children.
Common sense was one reason the “old cowboy” was able to become “old”. Especially the last one.:
“Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he’ll just kill you.”
Lucille brings chocolate cobbler. Made with love and a New York accent.
Extraordinary.
