This is so funny. My friend’s cat jumps up into her sink to drink out of the spigot when she brushes her teeth. So she bought him a water fountain for cats. He acts like it is a monster and won’t go near it.
Dogs drink from anything, even planter saucers when they are green and slimyā¦. Two of my cats drink from the faucet if the stream is ājust soā, one from his water bowl on the counter, two from the Cattit fountain (one just plays in the water), one laps water up from the patio table topā¦. As you know, our job is to serve cats in their needsā¦. Cattit is a good fountain but you have to keep up with cleanliness and replace filters.

I have a water fountain with a basin. The dog drinks from the basin, and the cat drinks from the fountain.
