Hat tip to Menagerie, who shared these on Facebook. I’m not using all of them – just the ones I liked, or that made me smile. It’s a new version of an old joke that you may remember. I hope it makes you smile too!

Fascism (the dictatorial–Mussolini–model): You have 2 cows. The State allows you to maintain them at your farm, but regulates the running of the farm, the owning of cows plus breeding of same, and the sale of the milk so that, in effect, the State actually owns the cows. Monetarily you make barely enough to cover your expenses while the State’s Il Duce lives VERY well, as do his friends and mistresses. The farmer is expected to vote for the party of the dictator, be a member in good standing with much “volunteer” work and hours on behalf of same, and fight it’s wars of expansion while the farm fails and you come home to nothing..

Yes, indeedy. A good friend of mine in the late 60s went on holiday to Spain, which was fascist under General Franco until the mid-70s, I think. My friend came home praising the entire trip. Reminding him that Franco was a dictator, he just shrugged his shoulders and indicated that everything was still orderly, clean and efficient. LOL!
