    We voted in November to end the switch, but I just found out it doesnt matter. The state legislature has to approve it by 2/3, the guv has to sign it, then the feds have to approve it. I have no idea why it has to be so difficult. The state legislature is to vote on it this month. So we will spring after all!

    I used to hate the spring change, since I had to get up in the dark, and always felt run-over-by-a-truck. But I do love the longer light in the evenings. Tundra, how does it work in Alaska? You are just getting out of too-long nights
