    A couple days ago at CTH I posted that infanticide is actually not tremendously unusual…that doctors for many years have been neglecting disabled babies and leaving them to die. I gave as illustration a friend many years ago relating that her relative birthed a child with spina bifida and the doctor, with the mother’s approval, allowed the child to starve to death.

    I can’t remember if it was here or at CTH that someone asked the question of who gets to decide what is disabled. Indeed! Some might believe a cleft palate or a cleft lip…others might consider a deformed or non-existent hand or foot…or no eyes or ears…or Down Syndrome. All of these would make life more difficult, but does the child deserve death because of them?

    Just now I was thinking that Northam probably thought most everyone knew about this heartless practice, and he was expressing how he was different. In his warped mind making sure that the child was comfortable while they decided to let him die or live, and not just leave the child uncovered and crying in a closet, made up for possibly killing him.

    Both abortion and infanticide are terrible choices. However, in this day and age when discovering fetal abnormalities is definitely possible and if feasible can be corrected via surgery while the child is in the womb, why would anyone wait until birth to decide what to do? It’s positively ghoulish.

    According to Howard Kurtz (on Fox) the KKK/blackface picture was leaked by Northam’s medical school fellow classmates, who were outraged by his comments on infanticide.

      I can almost see their reasoning, but what they really did was take the focus off of laws being written and advocated for by those who want to legally murder our babies, and put the focus back on the race card game again. They actually gave him an out on advocating murdering infants!

      I find it unexcusable! Had they really taken issue with Northam, they’d have exposed him before the elections when he was claiming Ed was a racist. My opinion, of course.
