I felt a sadness of rally withdrawal
I hope Trump continues to rally with the American people throughout his Presidency

Something that sort of shines a light on Trump that the MSM totally ignored while they were painting him as a racist was his blockbusting in Palm Beach. Totally ignored was his $100-million suit filed against the city of Palm Beach for discrimination.
Seems that when Trump opened his Mar-a-Lago club to black and Jewish membership the city elte blew a fuze. They let him know through a campaign of death by a thousand bureaucratic cuts thry weren’t happy, and I’m sure they let him know directly but unofficially of the same.
Trump was PO’d, being nouveau riche didn’t subscribe to the unwritten Palm Beach code that the city was for white Christians only, a long-standing rule. Trump won in that the city backed down rather than have its discriminatory practices dragged into the sunlight and lately some of the old-line WASP facilities and clubs have even admitted rich black and Jewish members.
MSM and prog talking heads missed thst entirely, wishing to,promote Trump as a David Duke with a platinum Amex. Didn’t hear many black or Jewish talking heads mentioning how Trump managed to block-bust one of the oldest exclusionist cities in the US. Maybe they thought it was just false news.

Remember the huge nuke shelters built to save the government members and FEMA officials? We could all melt into glowing puddles but they’d planned on surviving,Dr Strangelove style. Guess they were planning on coming out and taking turns ‘governing’ each other after the war. “Hey Harry, starting next Monday you’re the prole and I’m the Senator!”

Many prople forget/don’t know that FEMA’s original task was to be a shadow government if the US were ever attacked and the regular government discombobulated. It would provide ‘vital services’, the exact nature of which still has classified portions.
It would also usurp some functions of state governments since many states would have also been whacked in an all-out attack. I used to refer to FEMA as the Federal bureaucracy’s Praetorian Guard. When the Cold War ended the FEMA bureaucrats hunkered down, closed ranks and fended off attacks. They shed small functions in order for the core to survive until Katrina, a chance at remissioning and rebirth.
How’d we get so off course here?
