More like sheets, or curtains, that cover huge portions (or almost all) of the sky. It is magical to watch them ripple and wave. Ours are mostly blue-green to pink, and occasionally purple to red. I love to lay in a chaise lounge on the deck and stare up at them, but more than 5 minutes requires some serious suiting up first. The best lights happen well below zero. The road trip will take ya two weeks or so, but is a beautiful drive.

I was in London on vacation when I was in my early 20’s. Growing up I always drank tea instead of coffee. I ordered tea at breakfast and the waitress asked if I wanted cream and sugar. I said no I drink it black. She gave me a funny look and brought my order. One sip and my eyeballs flew out of my head!!! “Oh miss, could I have some cream PLEASE!” She laughed out loud and brought the cream. Man, that stuff was stout!
When I was in Russia tea was served with every meal. In the middle of what passes for early Spring in Russia anything above 32-degrees is welcome but it had all of the taste qualities of weak yellow water.

The sneak peek of the unfinished Gosnell movie on Thursday night at the Value Voters Summit in DC was phenomenal. Marjorie Dannenfelser, the President of Susan B Anthony List introduced the film.
We had almost 200 attendees. When the movie ended they gave a standing ovation. It was not their last. The first comment was “You’ve knocked it out of the park”, the second “This is a game changer”, many of those who spoke at the microphone were crying. A teenage girl who had come with her mother said she was so grateful she had seen the movie and that everyone needed to see it.

Speaking of which, the Religion of Peace is about ready to start celebrating Eid-al-Adha. This celebration, as with others in the religion not connected to the moon goddess, has its date is fixed by the lunar calendar.
At the end of the celebration Moslems who can afford it are expected to sacrifice a piece of livestock. Can’t wait tonsee how Wally World will respond when the Moslem community starts demanding their stores carry a suitable variety of livestock for their sacrificial needs. I presume that for vegan practitioners an alternative selection of .suitable Christians and Jews will be provided.

Nah. They probably think I’m an insider since I was defending Sundance’s position though admittedly with less emotion and handwringing than his initial post.
The herd mentality was that Sundance was risking losing half of Trump’s base if Sundance continued to criticize Trump’s choice of Kellyanne as his new campaign manager 🙄.
I told them that Sundance did not have that kind of power so they are probably utterly confused as to whether I am friend or foe 😎.

There was a fire at the mosque the Orlando nightclub shooter used to attend. Police say it was intentionally torched and have somewhat grainy surveillance video showing what they’ve concluded is a White or Hispanic (if I have to capitalize one I’m gonna capitalize the other) male who is the prime suspect.
The fire caused ‘considerable’ damage but doesn’tbseem to have reached the ammunition/explosives storage areas.

The sneak peek of the unfinished Gosnell movie on Thursday night at the Value Voters Summit in DC was phenomenal. Marjorie Dannenfelser, the President of Susan B Anthony List introduced the film.
We had almost 200 attendees. When the movie ended they gave a standing ovation. It was not their last. The first comment was “You’ve knocked it out of the park”, the second “This is a game changer”, many of those who spoke at the microphone were crying. A teenage girl who had come with her mother said she was so grateful she had seen the movie and that everyone needed to see it.
