Mornin’ All. 49* now on its way all the way up to 54*. It is supposed to be 34* tonight. Guess I need to close the bedroom window. It was really windy last night, which was nice.

I can’t choose between blueberry or pecan pancakes. I make chocolate chip for the grandkids, but I do not want chocolate in my breakfast. Morning czarina!

My dad used to add sweet corn to pancakes sometimes. It’s really good!

Oh, that does sound good. Might have to try that! I’ve actually been meaning to make corn fritters for a month, and I need to do it before all the corn’s gone.

He made apple fritters for breakfast sometimes too. He was a really good cook, especially breakfast. He said that he ran a Walgreen’s lunch counter for a time during the depression.

It seems like we’ve got abot 10% of all the hummingbirds on the planet coming through our place right now. We’re feeding more now than when they first get here in March. I’ve ordered a rail car full of sugar…… 😉
