Good day, Czarina! Guess I’ll have to pull something out of the library and do some book reading while eating coffee ice cream, my absolute favorite flavor….

As for pastors’ spouses, most of them I remember fondly, especially the ones from my childhood.

I love our pastor’s wife. She grew up on some island in the Pacific. Her parents were missionaries who are translating the Bible into their language. Quite a big job. She is so sweet. When I look into her eyes, it makes me want to hug her.

My whole family are a bunch of readers, especially my oldest granddaughter.

I will have a scoop of coffee ice cream.

Mornin’ All. It is overcast with the sun peeking out. We had another t-storm come through last night. It was so loud it woke Loki up and she looked at me with that “what in the world” look on her face.

A car pulled into the parking lot about 9:30. It probably was just trying to turn around, but it freaked me out since I was the only one here last night. I thought I heard something out there later, but I don’t really think it was anything. I just bought some solar lights from Amazon that are supposed to be really bright and are on a motion detector. I just need to get them put up now. They are on a big clip which should make it easy.

Hope you all stay safe and enjoy the day.

Mornin’ mom! Re the thunder, I had a similar experience a couple of days ago. Both Tucker and I jumped, and the lights went off and back on. Really scary.

Then, on Friday afternoon, the neighbors across the street were having some kind of celebration on their front lawn. At first there were loud noises that I thought might be gun shots. I worked up the courage to look out the front window when some middle eastern music started (loud drums and reedy wind instrument of some kind), and there were a bunch of people all dressed up kind of dancing around. I think it was a wedding.

Good day, aus! We’re sunny again. It’s 70 degrees right now and that’s the high for the day.

Nighttime sounds can be eerie. The lighting is not really adequate in my apartment complex. In the past we’ve had some strange happenings for which the police had to be called, but nothing recently. I used to think some of the sounds were just Little Gee playing around at night. However, the sounds are still occurring and they do spook me on occasion..LOL!

This house is a four plex, wood frame building, built in the 70’s. It makes lots of noises. There is a place in the wall in the living room that makes a snap/pow sound a few times a week. It still makes both of us jump even though we know what it is. It happens more when it gets really hot or really cold.

The parking lot is very dark and it spooks me to take Loki out after dark. I got two solar lights that may solve that. My son just came over and put them up. If the wind moves them, some screws came with them to screw them into the wood. They were only $25 so we will see if they are bright enough.

My son says there is no crime in this little town. I think he is right, but somehow knowing that doesn’t make me not scared in the dark. I do have a “pew pew” as they say on Youtube, so I need to keep that out I guess.

From AI: Understanding Black Smoke in Aviation Incidents

Black smoke can provide critical insights during aviation incidents.

Material Combustion — The burning of aircraft materials, such as plastics and insulation, can also produce black smoke during a crash

Engine Malfunction — If an engine doesn’t burn all the fuel fed to it, excess fuel is released, resulting in black smoke.

Fire Indication — Black smoke often signifies a fire, either in the engine or elsewhere on the aircraft, which can complicate rescue efforts.

Reports say that six persons are deceased. Plane hit automobiles, so possibly the deaths are civilians.
