Good mornin’, Miss Wee! Our stellar educational system has convinced another crop of mo-rons that they can do it right, if we just give them a chance. At least a couple more have been shown the door down in sunny FL. Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good mornin’, and happy Hump Day! A big shout-out to FL for taking out a bunch of trash last night! I found another fancy coffee pot for us this week. Very intricate. From the UK and described as a coffee pot, not a tea pot. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Fancy! And here I sit in a ratty tee shirt and my eyes not quite yet all the way open. Thanks T, good morning.

Good mornin’, Menage! We coffee drinkers aren’t judgemental about our wardrobes. Help yourself, ma’am.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, is as comfortable as those fraying tee shirts with holes. My husband, if you can believe it, tells me they should be thrown away! No, I can slouch around home in them for a year or two!

Myself!! A new T-shirt and jeans is dressin’ up for me.

My father had an old thread bare, holey, t-shirt that my mom hated, but wouldn’t throw out. It was really horrible. I never understood it since he was a very clean man who wore nice clothes most of the time.

Comfort! When I had my painting business, one of the perks was I got to dress like this every day, unless I had a potential new client meeting.

That reminds me of Pop’s old place in IN. He lived on the White River that had the really bad flooding. His old neighbor posted some pics and the house made it through but water was at the bottom edge! This happened about 2-3 days after I left!

When my middle son was a toddler, we spent the night on a houseboat. In the morning everyone had sausage biscuits for breakfast. Son got away from us, fell off the back of the boat. He was bobbing up and down, but that arm was straight up, holding the biscuit safe.
My husband reached down, grabbed him by the overall strap and yanked him out. He plopped down and resumed breakfast, never acknowledged any problem.

Texan, a burning question is answered by AI…plus it’s an incentive to give that garrulous auntie or uncle a job in the garden….
Talking to plants, including carrots, is often recommended by gardeners as a way to foster a connection and potentially enhance growth. While scientific evidence on the effectiveness of this practice is limited, many believe plant health and growth benefit.
Engaging with your carrot plants can have several advantages.

I’ll probably try it. I already talk to myself……..a lot! 😉

It’s probably best not get too emotionally connected. Watch what you say. Snapdragons have been known to take advantage.

Morning, czarina! Near where I once lived, we had an old-fashioned frozen custard stand. I like any kind of soft serve, but that was the best.
PS: Potatoes are my favorite vegetable.

Growing up in IN, we had a number of custard stands for a treat. Still love it.

Love soft serve ice cream.
I really like potatoes, served almost any way, but especially some version of fried.
Interesting about bows.

BOMBSHELL: Abdul El-Sayed’s Mother!!!!! Worked for Terror-Linked Group That Funded Osama bin Laden, the Taliban, and Hamas
By Mike LaChance Aug. 18, 2026 8:50 pm
Just yesterday, the Gateway Pundit reported that El-Sayed’s half sister is a radical leftist professor at the University of Chicago who allegedly assaulted a police officer at an anti-ICE protest and now this. What’s next?
This family clearly has some serious issues.
