NICE HOT ROD BANNER STELLA!

This coming weekend is the Woodward Dream Cruise here in suburban Detroit. All week we see the hot rods and classics up and down Woodward Ave., which is just a half block from my house and, on Saturday, they are all over towns for miles up and down the road. It’s a huge free outdoor event.

Btw, my mum hails from Lansing, grew up mostly in the Resorts at Houghton Lake and some time in Roscommon too. I recall visiting all that as a kid…..times have certainly changed!

Roscommon – canoeing on the Au Sable River. Brings back memories. My son-in-law’s family has a cottage on Lake St. Helen, which isn’t far from there.
