Good mornin’, Lucille! That deck looks like an awesome spot for our coffee. Just wonder how I’m gonna get back up! Better make it some hi-test coffee! It’s ready whenever you are, ma’am.

Good day, Texan! Yeah, looks like a few high quality pulleys might be needed to haul some of us coffee klatch folks up and down those steep stairs (which look more like a ladder). Wish the photographer had included a caption. Love to see more images from different angles.
Save some of the delightful brew for us late arisers.

Good afternoon, Stella!
I enjoy the automobiles photos as well, including those of the older trucks.
Was ever a country before so graced with beautiful, affordable transportation options?

Good mornin’, and happy Friday eve! I wonder if OAC’s old squeeze has gone out and bought some lottery tickets, since he’s the luckiest guy on the planet? I found one of our workhorse coffee machines for this morning. Looks like they’ve upgraded so I can’t drop one and break it anymore. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Good afternoon, Tex!
BUNN, the workhorses of the restaurant coffee trade. The stainless pots would be a help to the staff.
I wonder if the coffee tastes the same after a while, but then no coffee tastes as good after a while.

I saw them in several office settings I visited, or worked in as well.

Who Invented the Bunn Coffee Maker? A Brewing History!
By Chef Charlie – February 27, 2026
Ever wondered who’s responsible for that lightning-fast, delicious coffee brewing machine that’s a staple in diners and homes alike? You know, the one that seems to defy the laws of physics with its speed? Well, you’re not alone! The question of who invented the Bunn coffee maker is a common one, and the answer involves a fascinating mix of innovation, necessity, and a whole lot of coffee.

Morning, czarina! Love Prosecco for celebrations. Steak is a favorite. I’m a left hander, and no good at calligraphy.

Steak!
I would advise that the calligraphy come before too much of the Prosecco!

Afternoon czarina. I was once very skilled in calligraphy, as long as it was with a speedball lettering set with ink. I never mastered brush calligraphy. I’m still fairly decent at it with chisel markers. I haven’t dabbled in ink for years. It was part of my training in commercial art in high school.

Mornin’ All. Coolish out this morning and the rain they were teasing us with evidently came through in the middle of the night. I woke up and saw a few flashes of lightning, but heard no thunder and it didn’t rain here. But, it feels nice, a little cooler.
I’m off to get blood drawn and pick up a few things from Walmart.
Hope you have a nice day.

Glad the weather is improving. Hope you enjoy your outing. (Exception made for the blood draw. May your phlebotomist be accurate, swift and produce little pain.)

Far-Left Democrat Candidate Abdul El-Sayed Oversaw ‘Slaughterhouse’ that Killed Thousands of Dogs and Cats Under His Watch
By Cassandra MacDonald Aug. 13, 2026 5:40 pm
Abdul must not like dogs.
Far-left Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, who has campaigned heavily on his credentials as a doctor and public-health official, is under fire over his time leading the Detroit Health Department, during which the city’s animal-control operation euthanized more than 4,000 dogs and cats.
