    420 Day – Every year on April 20th, cannabis producers, consumers, advocates, and those who are just curious have long celebrated 420 Day. Once an unconventional day, the day has become the rallying cry of those who seek to legalize marijuana for medicinal and recreational uses.

    National Lima Bean Respect Day – I happen to love them, especially baby limas mixed with corn

    National Pineapple Upside Down Cake Day – made in a cast iron skillet just like mama did

    National Volunteer Appreciation Day

    National Look Alike Day

    National Cheddar Fries Day – just what I needed, another place to eat cheese!

      Morning czarina! I have never liked limas – it’s the texture, not the taste. Pineapple upside down cake for the win – the favorite of my SIL. He has it every birthday.

      NO on marijuana.

      Pineapple Upside down Cake sounds really good. And, I am sure that cooking it in an iron skillet makes it even better.

      Definitely yes on volunteer appreciation. People can do so much to help.

      I will pass on the lima beans. When I was in the 5th grade, we lived in Georgia and the schools were supplemented with limas from the government. So, the rule was you had to clean your plate if you were I the 6th grade. And, they served limas just about every day, cooked every way possible. I even remembered something like creamed limas. Like I said, I was in the 5th grade, thank goodness.

      I volunteer to eat the lima bean portions of anyone who doesn’t care for them, especially when prepared like these…
