Good mornin’, and happy Monday! Another pot from the Middle East area. Reports are that it is still standing in the UAE! Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Good day, Texan! Couldn’t find a single UAE cup that held much more than a thimble full of coffee….

I suppose a person could fill a whole line of them and drink ’em down like a shot glass challenge at the local pub.

Mornin’ Tex! That pot looks rather Eastern – Turkish, perhaps?

Good mornin’, Miss Stella. Info said UAE, but they look an awful lot like the Turkish pots indeed.

420 Day – Every year on April 20th, cannabis producers, consumers, advocates, and those who are just curious have long celebrated 420 Day. Once an unconventional day, the day has become the rallying cry of those who seek to legalize marijuana for medicinal and recreational uses.

National Lima Bean Respect Day – I happen to love them, especially baby limas mixed with corn

National Pineapple Upside Down Cake Day – made in a cast iron skillet just like mama did

   National Volunteer Appreciation Day

   National Look Alike Day

National Cheddar Fries Day – just what I needed, another place to eat cheese!

Morning czarina! I have never liked limas – it’s the texture, not the taste. Pineapple upside down cake for the win – the favorite of my SIL. He has it every birthday.

Good mornin’, czarina. Big fan of lima beans since I was a kid, and a side order of those cheese fries, please.

     NO on marijuana.

Pineapple Upside down Cake sounds really good. And, I am sure that cooking it in an iron skillet makes it even better.

Definitely yes on volunteer appreciation. People can do so much to help.

I will pass on the lima beans. When I was in the 5th grade, we lived in Georgia and the schools were supplemented with limas from the government. So, the rule was you had to clean your plate if you were I the 6th grade. And, they served limas just about every day, cooked every way possible. I even remembered something like creamed limas. Like I said, I was in the 5th grade, thank goodness.

I volunteer to eat the lima bean portions of anyone who doesn’t care for them, especially when prepared like these…

Trump can't make cattle appear that weren't bred three years ago because of Biden Admin policies.

It takes 3 years from the date of breeding until that beef lands in a market.

We are seeing today the result of a decline in breeding in 2023. https://t.co/O1NU032DAF

Whover was running that administration did a very good job of almost taking this Country to ruin on many fronts. The effects will be felt for many years to come.

   Cool story.

Six weeks after September 11, 2001, twelve American soldiers were quietly loaded onto a helicopter in Uzbekistan and flown over the Hindu Kush mountains in the dead of night.
No tanks. No armored vehicles. No air support waiting on the ground.
