Good mornin’, and happy Monday! It’s a tad chilly again this morning, so I’ll get to work from home since every road in the county is its own ice rink. Found this sleek, at-home model, since getting together might be tough. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

National Green Juice Day – I do not like this flavor

    National Spouses’ Day

National Peanut Brittle Day – my father bought this for hurricane prep. Never ate it otherwise.

National Bubble Wrap Day – who doesn’t know someone who loves to pop this stuff

Every public school in the state of Tennessee is closed. I don’t know if that’s ever happened before.

Mornin’ All. It is in the Mid-teens here right now. We still have just a little layer of snow on the ground. Everyone here seems to think we have it good right now. I have to agree when I watch the weather people. I hope people stay in and keep warm and safe where the weather is bad and the ice is bad.

Well, take care and keep warm.

    Good afternoon, everyone,

Glad to see all reporting as “safe and surviving” whatever nature threw their way.

Wee gets the championship award for coffee extraction in a hostile environment.

It’s a mixed bag, with some employers closing their businesses, and others not.

Employees choosing to head out in it, especially in the more essential services; as prepared for their encounters as preparation can make it.

For others, when work’s available, they work, as every penny counts. For small businesses, that includes the owners, even if employees don’t show up.

A bit of enjoyable music from the storytelling master…..

“The World We Knew (Over And Over)” – Frank Sinatra – 1967

At 1:43-4, he sings the word “turned” and the word sounds as though it is turning in space.  Lovely!  That’s not easy, ladies and gentlemen, for us mere mortals.  Piece of cake for Francis Albert.

    Frank Sinatra’s Half-Century-Old Album Debuts

March 19, 2025 – In spite of the fact that he’s been gone from this world for more than a quarter-century, Frank Sinatra maintains his superstar status. The legendary crooner still commands a massive fanbase, one that snaps up any new collection released under his name and occasionally returns to some of his oldest releases.

    The World We Knew Debuts

The World We Knew launches on two of Billboard’s three jazz-focused rankings. It opens highest on the Traditional Jazz Albums tally, coming in at No. 14. On the slightly more all-encompassing New Jazz Albums roster, that title kicks off at No. 17.
