Good mornin’, Lucille! If that’s Alberta, I think we should make the trade for MN! Coffee’s ready ma’am.

Are you kidding T? At this point I’d trade MN for half of purgatory.

At this point, that would probably be a good deal.

Good day, Texan! Even Canada wouldn’t want Minnesota.
The Canadian government will do everything possible to retain Alberta since it is the only fully functioning province (and the most conservative…SHOCKER!). Alberta foots the bill for Ottawa’s continuous giveaways of tax dollars to those who should be thrown out of the country.

Good day, Menagerie! Another Fernando video I ran across….
Indiana star QB Fernando Mendoza’s 2017 interview just resurfaced. He was only 13-year-old
Such a darling young man.

Good mornin’, and happy Monday! It’s a tad chilly again this morning, so I’ll get to work from home since every road in the county is its own ice rink. Found this sleek, at-home model, since getting together might be tough. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Good mornin’, Miss Wee! I think the snow was a lot more fun when I was her size! I just didn’t know about coffee yet!

Might have to move the toaster to fit it where the Mr. Coffee currently sits.

Texan, that’s a pretty little maker. I found this 18lb dumbbell mug which enables the fitness conscious to complete two very necessary tasks at the same time….
Be aware, however, that lifting it to the lip might crack some teeth if you’re not careful.

National Green Juice Day – I do not like this flavor
National Spouses’ Day
National Peanut Brittle Day – my father bought this for hurricane prep. Never ate it otherwise.

I saw pictures of Oxford, MS online. Of all the awful ones that are going around, that town was the worst. At least parts of Mississippi must have gotten it bad.

Low was 24*, just hit 32*. Sunny with clear skies now, roof is dripping melted ice.

High hit 36 at 3:30, now dropping. Expected to be 18* by tomorrow morning.

I’ll pass on the green juice, I don’t care how healthy it is supposed to be. I’ll also pass on the spouse. I really like peanut brittle, but only want it in small doses. I agree about the bubble wrap. It is hard not to pop it.

Mornin’ All. It is in the Mid-teens here right now. We still have just a little layer of snow on the ground. Everyone here seems to think we have it good right now. I have to agree when I watch the weather people. I hope people stay in and keep warm and safe where the weather is bad and the ice is bad.
Well, take care and keep warm.

Good day, aus! It was sunny here at 9:00 but a 33 degree cloudy day now. Ordinarily we’d be knee deep in snow, but apparently Mother Nature decided to give all our snow to other unfortunate states.
Take care of yourself on those icy roads.

Good afternoon, everyone,
Glad to see all reporting as “safe and surviving” whatever nature threw their way.
Wee gets the championship award for coffee extraction in a hostile environment.
It’s a mixed bag, with some employers closing their businesses, and others not.
Employees choosing to head out in it, especially in the more essential services; as prepared for their encounters as preparation can make it.
For others, when work’s available, they work, as every penny counts. For small businesses, that includes the owners, even if employees don’t show up.

A bit of enjoyable music from the storytelling master…..
“The World We Knew (Over And Over)” – Frank Sinatra – 1967
At 1:43-4, he sings the word “turned” and the word sounds as though it is turning in space. Lovely! That’s not easy, ladies and gentlemen, for us mere mortals. Piece of cake for Francis Albert.
Frank Sinatra’s Half-Century-Old Album Debuts
March 19, 2025 – In spite of the fact that he’s been gone from this world for more than a quarter-century, Frank Sinatra maintains his superstar status. The legendary crooner still commands a massive fanbase, one that snaps up any new collection released under his name and occasionally returns to some of his oldest releases.
The World We Knew Debuts
The World We Knew launches on two of Billboard’s three jazz-focused rankings. It opens highest on the Traditional Jazz Albums tally, coming in at No. 14. On the slightly more all-encompassing New Jazz Albums roster, that title kicks off at No. 17.
