With their obedience and loyalty in rooting out rodents or securing cattle, they performed tasks with purpose. Today, military and rescue dogs receive rigorous training and work hard alongside their human counterparts, too.

    Glad Vandal found a good home. Parrots require special care and I’m happy to see someone who’s able to give that to him.

    It’s a long-term commitment. I’m glad she stated that clearly. Pets depend on their owners.
