Good mornin’, Lucille! That’s wild. Not sure that I want a bear family cavorting in my yard, but it’s certainly entertaining! Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good mornin’, and happy Monday! Looks like the Big (Not so much) Beautiful Bill is heading out of the House. Here’s a modern arab coffee maker in honor of Trump’s successful trip. Keep your head on a swivel, and carpe’ your coffee!

That’s what they get! I mean, how important is it that your name is spelled right on a coffee cup of all things??? I have a nickname that is often spelled wrong. I cared a lot when I was in school, but along the way in adulthood, I woke up and realized that how anyone spells my name has no ranking at all in what matters, even to me.
That being said, I agree with you T, people can’t function at even basic societal levels anymore due to just being dumb.
Have I ever told y’all that when I was hired at Home Depot there were still paper applications and a functional math test to take? Calculate basic addition and subtraction problems, how many gallons of paint in a certain size room, rolls of wallpaper, etc.? And this other woman who was also applying had brought her son, who looked to be maybe 5th or 6th grade. He was answering the math problems.

I decided some time ago that it was no longer any of my business or concern what others thought of me…..except for Mrs. T…..That took a lot of stress and useless worrying off my shoulders. As for the big orange store….. Orange Man/Orange store. Coincidence???? Apparently they’re both RAYCISSSSSS because……maths is hard!

Very attractive, Texan! Would look great in the President’s Oval Office….except he doesn’t drink any variety. Apparently he got flack from varying corners for not actually drinking the coffee served to him during his Middle East trip, but merely holding the cup. It never ends.
This is the perfect mug to use should you ever be forced to drink the delicious brew in the presence of crazed leftists….

We went to a high school graduation Saturday. Small, very rural Tennessee county with only two high schools. First, I was very impressed with how well planned and efficiently and skillfully executed it was. And the students were so well behaved and acted very respectfully and with decorum. Except one. The valedictorian.
Her entire speech was to attempt to go down the list of teachers and trash them, one by one. The principal had to stop her. The salutatorian was a little better, but her speech consisted entirely of thanking the teachers she liked, her two very best friends, and her family, that was it.
Now, the big thinker of the day was the young man voted Best All Around. He gave an amazing short speech that had a few culture quotes to draw in the audience, it was clear, concise, well written, and actually had a topic appropriate to the day, and encouraged his classmates to celebrate but look ahead. His delivery was actually unbelievable for a high school kid.
Anyhow, I’ve sure never seen a valedictorian as stupid as that one. Shame for her class, I went online, and the school has been putting a video of the graduation on YouTube for a couple of years. I’m sure parents and the kids enjoy that at some point. Bet this class doesn’t get one. Self centered little jerk.

Holy shiite! I would pay money for a video of that speech. I would then sit all six of my grandchildren down and make them watch it on a loop. Then, I would share with them that if they ever embarrassed their family like this young lady did that they should go ahead and pack your sh*t and change your last name. How sad.

T, my husband says I’ve been obsessed about this, but I have the exact same motivation. I’ve been looking for a video, and I’d think sooner or later one will surface.
If that had been one of my boys, they would have come off not looking nearly as bad as their mother because I’d have marched onto that stage and beat them bloody.

I homeschooled my son until the 11th grade. He wanted to go to Annapolis and they had just started accepting a few homeschoolers at that point. So, I let him go to the small rural school in our area so there wouldn’t be a problem with him getting in Annapolis. I was disappointed and shocked at how little they expected from the kids. He was sick for about a week near the end of school and was supposed to read a book. She let them get away with WATCHING THE MOVIE!! For English class. I was appalled. I think he ended up reading the book, but not for her. And, he is an avid reader now and so are all his children, well, except for his year old son. LOL. But, I have high hopes for him.
Oh, and I forgot to mention there were a bunch of 4.0 kids in that school. They could barely read.

Mornin’ All. Just flat chilly here. It seems the rain has passed on by now, but left us with some really cool weather. Still not complaining. I slept very well last night even with the window open a little and it being very chilly in my room.
Hope you all enjoy the day.

Good day to you, aus! Our weather is cool, cloudy and one where you could just snuggle up on a comfortable couch and waste the day away.
Have fun with your son’s birthday prep.

Stella, I am making deviled eggs for my son’s birthday dinner. I am doing it the way you told us about and I always have good luck with it. It is very easy to peal the shells. The one problem I had was the eggs cracking, but now I set them out just a little early and let them warm up before I put them in the boiling water and I have had no problems with cracking.
I actually have a little system. I lift the boiled eggs out of the hot water and put them in the ice bath and set the pot of water back on the eye. Then I start the next 6 eggs. It works pretty smoothly. So, thanks.

I’m happy it works for you. I don’t boil any longer. I steam them, or I use my little electric egg cooker. That way they don’t rattle around in the pan. I think that helps with cracking.
Sometimes I put a teeny hole in the fat end of the egg, and sometimes I don’t. Putting the little hole seems to make it easier to peel, as I guess a bit of water gets under the shell. My egg cooker has a tool that is like a thumbtack to make the hole.

I am not sure. I am bringing deviled eggs and stuffed celery. I am going to use peanut butter and a cream cheese mixture, I wanted pimento cheese, but I couldn’t find any and I once made it myself, but it really wasn’t any good.
the cream cheese has shredded cheddar cheese, parsley, chives, and something else I can’t remembering it.

I am watching President Trump sign an EO for something Melania has been working on, for kids in foster care and he gave her credit for it and even had her sign it along with him. I love him more each day.
If there are any mistakes in what I have written, it is because I left my reading kglasses in the dining room and I can’t get up because I have Loki asleep on my lap. 🙄
