There is not a single person alive who knows with certainty if the Trump Tariffs will be a net positive for the USA or a net negative for the USA.

No one knows.

But that hasn’t stopped scads of prominent members of the intelligentsia from deciding they are tariff experts.

But what I do know is this: the people screeching the loudest about the impending doom Trump Tariffs will cause are generally the same people who have led us in the wrong direction on virtually every major policy issue of the last generation.

It will be interesting to see what they say if/when the tariffs prove to be the key to America’s Golden Age.

Perhaps it’s my imagination, but it seems to me that the people wailing and screeching about economic ruin over the Trump Tariffs are the same people who did the following:

(1) Assured me it was “two weeks to stop the spread.”

(2) Believed Joe Biden was mentally competent.

(3) Promised that the Trump/Kamala election was a “toss up.”

(4) Believed in the existence of a “Russian pee tape.”

(5) Swore that US military forces were not involved in Ukraine.

(6) Labeled some grandmas walking between velvet-roped stanchions in the Capitol an “insurrection.”

(7) Respected the “wisdom” of Obama- and Biden-appointed federal district court judges issuing nationwide injunctions against lawful Presidential authority.

(8) Thought Mike Pence and Liz Cheney were voices of sanity.

(9) Wondered aloud who would cut their lawn and pick their blueberries if Trump deported illegal aliens.

(10) Promised that the Patriot Act was necessary for national security and that it would never be used against American citizens.

(11) Said that Hunter’s laptop had “all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation.”

(12) Believed the “fine people” hoax.
