Excellent presentation by Katie of the probable Trump strategy to deal with the current state of the American economy.

There may also be some surprises along the way.

Our reaction to tariffs is just plain stupid. Unfortunately, so many people – on both sides of the border – are easily manipulated into supporting that stupidity.

Canada already had tariffs on many US goods. China is now declaring tariffs on some Canadian goods, but it’s barely even being reported on. Canada and the US both used to fund our governments through tariffs, excise taxes, etc – instead of taxing our own citizens. Canada is taxing us to death, with another carbon tax of around 20% kicking in on April 1, but we’re supposed to be freaking out over Orange Man Bad imposing tariffs? Instead of demanding our own government do its job re: the border and the fentanyl crisis? Instead, our government claims the border is secure and we have no problem with fentanyl. Meanwhile, yet another superlab was discovered in BC.
