Good mornin’, and Happy Friday, kids! It’s certainly been an interesting week in the Swamp and I’m not sure who’s on what team right now. So…….we better just make sure we get our nectar for the day and maybe someone can bring some popcorn. This is not a show pony, or really different. It sort of looks like something you would make a grilled cheese sandwich on top. However, this is a $29,000 coffee/espresso making machine. That’s pretty much the most expensive one I’ve ever seen! For those who want to look this stuff up for additional background, this is a -La Marzocco KB90. Keep your head on a swivel, and Carpe’ your coffee!

Good mornin’, Miss Wee! I have long suspected this. Today is my last morning/day in the HOU. Moving all operations to the Hillz for the rest of my ride. I recently figured out that I’ve spent more than 30 years of my adult life living and working in this crazy town.
I am certainly looking forward to a lot less windshield time on the weekends moving forward. I am not shutting down my workload, just the traveling back and forth. I wonder when I should tell Mrs. T.

National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day – I do not have one. Always thought I should get one, but really haven’t needed many sweaters (ugly or prettty) since I left Utah.

Morning czarina! I loved going caroling when I was a kid. I have many sweaters, but no ugly ones, and I don’t think I have ever had Sangria but, if I did, I know I would prefer the white kind.

My best friend growing up used to make the very best Sangria. I didn’t like any that you could buy in a bottle, but hers was great.

Good day, Czarina! Love Christmas sweaters but not any that could be categorized as “ugly” since I don’t do ugly not even to take the trash out…LOL!
There were lots of amateur singing and dancing in plays and shows, plus Christmas pageants at church, both with choirs and as soloist or duets, but don’t recall going Christmas caroling.
Hearing the name Dr. Mudd reminds me that Roger Mudd was a descendant of his. Plus I think Dennis Weaver made a TV film about Mudd. As for the real Dr. Mudd, he held bitterness for doing what he called a humanitarian act and then being incarcerated for it. First of all, Mudd lied and lied repeatedly about knowing Booth. He changed his story but continued to lie about the timeline, etc. How would we feel toward anyone assisting one of the failed assassins of President Trump? Booth killed the President. IMO, Mudd knew about the plot to kill Lincoln, though perhaps not the particulars. He’s lucky he wasn’t sent to the gallows.

Time for Christmas Eve bonfires up the river. Czar and I went a few times. They were really neat. Roux-dolph is a highlight this year.

Afternoon All. Got my new keys this morning. The place was supposed to have been cleaned. Evidently somebody thought a light dusting was all it needed and no clean windows. It was also dusty INSIDE the kitchen cabinets. I was also told they cleaned the spider webs from outside the front door. Boy, there must be some ambitious, busy spiders there.
