New Study: DEI Trainings Make People See Racism Even if It Isn’t There

By Michael Schwarz December 1, 2024 at 12:00pm

Maoist tactics lead to Maoist outcomes.

For instance, if you train people to see oppression everywhere, they will see it even where it does not exist.

Good mornin’, Lucille! I must be on the short bus. My company (former) made us take DIE classes every year for at least five years. I actually played the videos at normal speed the first couple years, but for some reason I just got p*ssed off rather than buying into this drivel. I actually tried to make sense of it but just couldn’t pull it off. Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good mornin’, and Happy Monday, kids! For those of you who may have gone to bed early yesterday, just wanted to let you know that Hunter is free as a bird now for anything he did between 2014 and 2024. I’m sure Stella will have more for us today, but I’m going hard early on that news. But we should at least be able to pull the curtain back when we get some swamp-drainers in place in a few weeks. Keep your head on a swivel and Carpe’ your coffee

Mornin’ and gracias, T! I’m wondering about the timing on the pardon – is FJB afraid they’re gonna bounce him out ahead of time so the drunk can be “47” for a minute (and she, for sure, wouldn’t do him any favors?) Or what?? Something (besides the pardon) smells.

I don’t think for a minute that the good “Doctor” is gonna walk out of her rent house until the lease is up. Kamala has shown that her elbows are not real sharp. Kinda like her mental limitations. I think FJB wants to make sure that his name isn’t brought up in any court of law where there might be a chance for his dim-witted son to spill some beans. But I’ve been wrong before. Just ask my first wife!

Mornin’ Tex! I wondered, in the back of my brain, if Biden wanted to be sure to be the one to pardon Hunter, just in case Trump decided to do it in January.

Good day, Texan! And the entire corrupt loser Biden family gets to keep the money. Love of money is, indeed, the root of all evil. Money means power. And some live for both.

You’ll note how many folks are buying into the victimhood of Hunter. They want us to feel sorry for him! Good grief! Did someone force him to smoke crack or take drugs or become addicted to porn and acting out?

The only good thing to come from this is the Dems will be affected negatively for a while anyway.

This article was from late yesterday at AT, but I wanted to share. Looks like Clooney has figured out that he was made the patsy by his bestie, Bronco Bama. I wonder if these Hollywood-types will ever figure out that when it comes to sucking up to politicians, they will always be the mark? It is fun to watch though.

Hot heads and slow burners for revenge were busy in NO last weekend. 8 incidents, 13 people shot, 4 dead including a 3 year old. I’m sure the shooters ae proud of their handiwork. l

Afternoon All. It is still 20* here but sunny. There are still traces of snow left in the grass, but it is gone on all the pavement. The weather guessers are saying that we will have a mild winter. That would be a good thing I think.

I finished filling out and sent my application to the rental agency handling the apartment I am interested in. I think it would be the perfect place for me and is much bigger than this place. It has been sitting vacant for a long time, I think. Also, it looks like there is a carport for each apartment. That would be wonderful.

    I took Loki’s bed up over the weekend and put down the new one trying to get her to use. Nope. She wanted to lie in my lap all weekend and if I put her in the new bed, she acted like I was torturing her. So, I gave in and put her old one down this morning and she lit up. I guess she wins this round. I also had it in my bedroom and she decided to sleep in the bed with me. Not good. Besides sleeping snug up against me so I have trouble turning over, she is now shedding in large clumps of fur. {sigh}

Hope you all have nice weather and a nice day.

Good afternoon, mom! It’s cold here too, and cloudy. The snow is evaporating, so there isn’t as much on the grass. Our pets are interesting. Tucker has a crate with a comfy mattress, and that is where he sleeps. He doesn’t get a choice, and he evens goes in there on his own sometimes to nap. The cat, on the other hand, has several places, including my bed, where she likes to sleep.

PS: That isn’t completely true about Tucker. He often sleeps on the sofa during the day. I have a washable cover on it, so that’s okay.

She was doing really well before I introduced the new bed. She slept in her own bed and then, just before daylight would jump up and join me for a while which I had no problem with. But, this new bed which has a cover over it freaks her out.

Cher Chez has a full sized sofa covered with a sheet (washed weekly) in the living room. Hannah has a love seat with an old duvet cover (also washed weekly) but frequently sleeps on the floor. Cats sleep wherever they like, but not up against me in bed, as I move about too much.

    Biden Chooses His Reading Material

DEC 1, 2024 4:00 PM By Hugh Fitzgerald

Is a picture worth a thousand words? As Robert Spencer discussed here, President Joe Biden was photographed on Black Friday coming out of a bookstore on Nantucket, holding a copy of a polemic posing as history — “The Hundred Years’ War On Palestine,” by Rashid Khalidi, a former PLO propagandist and professor, now emeritus, at the antisemitism-tolerating campus of Columbia University. More on Biden’s choice of reading material can be found here: “Biden spotted with book that accuses Israel of settler-colonialism, apartheid,” Jerusalem Post, November 30, 2024:

This is from a new show from Taylor Sheridan – Landman with Billy Bob Thornton. Quite a change from what we’re used to seeing about fairy dust and windmills. About 2:00. but well worth at least a minute or so.

Yup – worth that one line about Exxon – If they could make 10 cents profit off a windmill the whole country would be covered with ’em.
