Dems Unwilling to Write Off Kamala Comeback

    Will the coddling never end?

November 24, 2024 by Daniel Greenfield

The only reason Kamala failed upward into a failed presidential bid was a series of lucky breaks based on her political relationships in California and her checking some identity politics boxes. Her campaign was a mess that wasted insane amounts of money only to suffer one of the most catastrophic defeats in recent history.

And yet Dems don’t seem done with her.

Good mornin’, and Happy Monday, y’all! Looks like we’ve got at least the top 15 picks on the table now. Hopefully each new nominee is getting vetted a little bit better than the one before them. This espresso machine says it’s an Illetta model from 1925. I haven’t found it in color, but this appears to be a real working machine and not some AI version. Hope everyone is where you want to be for Thanksgiving and won’t have to travel, or at least very far. Keep your head on a swivel and Carpe your coffee!

Good day, Texan! That’s one busy looking coffee maker. Went looking for more information on it and found the following at the company’s website….

Francesco Illy founded illycaffè in 1933. His 1935 invention of the illetta, considered the blueprint for modern espresso machines, revolutionized coffee preparation. His innovative method of packaging, based on pressurization, enabled illy’s initial exports to Sweden and Holland during the 1940s. Francesco Illy’s method remains the standard for preserving and enhancing coffee’s freshness during transport and storage.

Ernesto, Francesco’s son, earned a doctorate in chemistry and joined the company in the late 1940s. His passion for learning gave rise to illy’s formal scientific and technological research efforts, starting with a house laboratory dedicated to coffee chemistry. In the 1950s, he spear-headed the company expansion into homes, selling smaller cans of ground coffee for the first time. In 1965 he moved the company to its current Via Flavia headquarters, still in Trieste.

Mornin’ All. Kept snowing yesterday and some overnight. We got a few more inches. I am not sure if there will be any more. I doubt it, the storm crossed us and it looks clear for a while after that. I took my car in to get the heater fixed and can’t seem to get back up there to get it. I wasn’t going to have him put on my snow tires because he charges a lot more, but it is a necessity now. I rode with a couple to go to church and there is a grade I have to come up to get back. Two trucks were stalled on it then. I doubt I could make it without the snow tires. So, he is going to try to put them on tomorrow. I won’t be able to drive to my son’s house tomorrow without them. I may not be able to anyway;, even with them.

Loki is not a fan of the snow. She doesn’t like stepping off the sidewalk if she can avoid it even though it is covered with snow. It is so deep in the grass that it comes almost up to her belly. She kinda prances with her little pink boots on. Pretty cute.

Hope everyone is having good weather and is healthy.

Good afternoon, aus! Miss Loki would probably like our Panhandle weather much better as it’s only overcast and the rain has stopped. She could take her stylish self around the block and show off those pink boots. Does she have a raincoat to match?

I took advantage of the break in the weather to get several bags of trash out to the bin which was so full it was tough going stuffing mine in. But at least the task got done. One bag was full of torn up writings of mine, mostly poems and reminiscences from the 1960s thru 80s. I’ve got several file boxes full of items like unsold scripts and story ideas plus research for same to be read one last time and then trashed. It’s way too much trouble to retype everything into a computer file.

      Take care!

It’s pretty obvious that the police were some of the crazed and brutal ones on January 6th. Someone should send Pence a copy of this video to show him evidence that he’s on the wrong side of history here.

“New Video Shows DC Metro Officer Lila Morris After She Repeatedly Beat Trump Supporter Rosanne Boyland with Her Police Stick as Rosanne Died on the Capitol Steps on January 6, 2021”

By Jim Hoft  Nov. 25, 2024 8:15 am

Tommy Tatum News published a video on Sunday of DC Metro Police Officer Lila Morris taking a break after she beat Rosanne Boyland dead on the Capitol Steps on January 6, 2021.

It’s difficult to determine whether Officer Morris’s brutal beating directly caused Rosanne Boyland’s death or was merely a contributing factor.

What is clear, however, is that the mainstream media has consistently failed to report honestly on Rosanne Boyland’s story, just as they have with so many other accounts from that tragic day.

Officer Morris was then awarded a trip to the Super Bowl for her courageous work that day.
