Good mornin’, and Happy Friday, y’all! Every day just brings more weirdness, doesn’t it? I’m not sure what feeding Dorito’s to a nubile young lady has to do with being POTUS, but I can’t unsee it now. We need coffee, and we need it now. This is a Vintage Silex vacuum coffee maker. I’m fascinated by how these things work. This one is one of the more unique looking of this type. Keep your eyes peeled, your head on a swivel, and Carpe your Coffee!

Morning Tex, and thanks. That was an in your face insult and mockery to Catholics. I’d personally love to slap the bitch. I cannot emphasize enough just how insulting, how outrageous, how broken her video was. And no way in hell was that not done with complete intent.
Breathe, breathe, breathe. Back to coffee. That is a unique and special little deal, that coffee maker.

I had a coffee maker like that when I was first married (except it wasn’t electric). The Moka pot works the same way but it isn’t made of glass.

This is what the magic google machine told me –
Once you hit your brew time, you remove heat, the liquid falls back to the lower chamber, and an included filter keeps ground coffee from entering your final brew. It’s a little bit like a two chambered French Press with a flame at the bottom and its own heat source. That’s all I’ve got.

I rather suspect (based on my own experience with FEMA) that this is not a loan, and that it is an initial payment to cover immediate needs. It is a bit odd, I admit. When I had a flooded basement (sewage and storm water), FEMA sent me a check for more the $4,000 to cover my ruined furnace and hot water heater. It wasn’t a loan. I did have to apply on line, and FEMA sent an inspector (he was from Florida!) to assess the damage.
ADD: This was in 2014, and there were thousands of people in this area with similar damage.

Good gawd! The Judge and Jack are likely to unseal more shiite before the election to try and sway the American public. I don’t understand how this works at all anymore. If this isn’t election interference, I don’t know what is.
