Good mornin’, kids and Happy Saturday! Time to get out and get all those errands done that we’ve been putting off since it’s sweltering out there for many of us. While we’re outside, let’s go ahead and have some cowboy coffee! Biscuits are cooking too! Anyone else ready for them to unplug the Merry-Go-Round we’re on in this circus?

Good mornin’, all! I thought I would get up early and make sure the world was a safer place for all of us…………then I went back to bed. Whatever grease is needed, pleas take all you need! While up in the midwest for nearly a week, I thought it was nice to wake up to a brisk 70* in the morning, and I see IN is waking up to mid-50’s today! Always my luck.

Two degrees cooler outside than in my air conditioned house! Humidity is lower than yesterday. And a light breeze. At tease of fall.
Of course this won’t last, heading to high 90*’s with lots of humidity next week.

The stupid runs deep in Cali! Guv Hair Gel proposing another increase in the minimum wage for those fast-food workers who lost their jobs when it hit $20/hour. I guess this is so they can afford a burger at one of those closed-up restaurants. When they get hired again to sweep floors somewhere.

In case anybody is interested, I made the chicken thighs with the Aromatic Curry Marinade that was featured in Thursday’s post.
I didn’t have curry powder, so I used garam masala and added a bit of spicy pepper, which is similar. I cooked the chicken under the broiler rather than on the grill.
It smells heavenly and is absolutely delicious!
Leftovers tonight, along with mixed roasted veg.

I cooked a pork roast in the slow cooker last week, and had it one night with gravy and rice, with barbcue sauce, and (the best) put it on tortillas with salsa, cheese, fresh tomato and lettuce.
Leftovers are my friend.
