Good morning, Texan! So, where did coffee come from? No, Brandon didn’t discover it while on a trip to eastern Africa; I don’t care what he says to the contrary.
Here are some ideas from “The History of Coffee”…a goat herder named Kaldi from the Ethiopian plateau is a prime candidate in its discovery. Then the Arabs lay claim to popularizing it. Even a Pope got involved when he declared that drinking coffee wasn’t a sin, venial or mortal.

As for inner beauty…as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder; and outward beauty is certainly no predictor of happiness.
When we were kids, playing outside was a given most every day in southern California and you didn’t need a special day set aside as a reminder. Today’s youth perhaps spend too much time on their phones or computer games inside; so they need a nudge or two.
Is there a yogurt-covered pretzel day? I’d like that better.
Looked up trigeminal neuralgia and found it “is a condition that causes painful sensations similar to an electric shock on one side of the face” and may be caused by dental or facial injury via “pressure on the trigeminal nerve close to where it enters the brain stem.” Many experience frequent fears of an attack; and not wanting others to be alarmed, might isolate themselves. Poor darlings who suffer from it.

Camilla’s instincts are most likely right on target…but she still shouldn’t get invoved. Being a step-parent is really, really hard. I feel for them both – those kids are trash and will self-combust soon enough.

My goodness! Whoever within the royal family is either revealing or making up private family matters needs to be fired. However, people are acting like husbands and wives don’t argue. Camilla has a very strong, common sense character and she knows the rules.
The way “the firm” is set up, Charles can’t demote either Harry or Megsie. He can petition Parliament for review but it’s up to the government whether the unscrupulous pair gets thrown out of the Royal Family. The woke king, like every woke soul in the U.S., is perhaps apprehensive about being called racist. Meg’s accusations of racism already caused harm to some of the Commonwealth countries’ relationship with the Crown.
But remember, Harry and Megs are experts in garnering publicity. This whole thing sounds like one of their huge ploys to be in the news and cause their followers (yes, there are many such idjuts) to rally round.

Speaking of enormous, I saw an asteroid last night that redefines the word. It was a huge red fireball and really close. Awesome bordering on terrifying!

Afternoon All. It was 40* when we got up. It is now very sunny and in the 50’s. Beautiful day.
I was shocked when I got up this morning and saw the news about Israel being attacked. This looks really awful. It took a lot of planning to make this happen. My first thought was wondering if Biden’s people are involved. SMH
