      Good afternoon, Wee! Yes, indeed, “good boy”…he knows his Dad is talented and hopes someone will give him a job playing his horn.

      When I lived in Santa Monica, CA, in the evenings and on weekends, musicians could get a permit for playing on the downtown street mall. Some were pros, some were amateurs, but all could display a tip box and make a little cash. For me, if they had a dog, all the better.

      That’s a very edifying story for us here. Our stock-dog has tangled with yotes more than once. He’s a warrior but could never survive a pack like that big hairy Pyrenees did. I carry a weapon when walking him near the hayfield in the morning, as those animals can be aggresssive, and our boy doesn’t back down.
