I had two labs. The mail was like the first dog and the female was like the second when I would open the closet door to get out their leashes. She would be bouncing and trying to put her head in the leash.

Good afternoon, Wee! Yes, indeed, “good boy”…he knows his Dad is talented and hopes someone will give him a job playing his horn.
When I lived in Santa Monica, CA, in the evenings and on weekends, musicians could get a permit for playing on the downtown street mall. Some were pros, some were amateurs, but all could display a tip box and make a little cash. For me, if they had a dog, all the better.

That’s a very edifying story for us here. Our stock-dog has tangled with yotes more than once. He’s a warrior but could never survive a pack like that big hairy Pyrenees did. I carry a weapon when walking him near the hayfield in the morning, as those animals can be aggresssive, and our boy doesn’t back down.
