Stella’s and CTH (Last Refuge) still use PayPal for donations. We will probably be changing that as soon as a good alternative is found. Two things:
– You don’t need to have a PayPal account to donate, even though PayPal is our payment processor.
– Even if you have a PayPal account, they can’t take money from you unless it is in your PayPal account. Most people (including me) don’t leave money in their accounts.

I know that Venmo, Stripe and Square are the enemy (in fact, Square was founded by Jack Dorsey). Will check to see if GabPay offers an actual payment processing service independent of its Gab Marketplace.
There are others, but tracking down the owners takes some sleuthing!

I searched ‘conservative payment processors’ on the Qwant search engine and came up a surprising number of possibilities. One of them was a new platform started by Dan Bongino in response to Stripe kicking DJT off its service for political reasons.
Might find something there.
