I was a resident of CO for 15 years and road the Silverton several times; but never in the snow. The scenery is outstanding. I lived in Louisville and moved to FL in 2005. I’ve just been informed that the house we built on Harper Lake was destroyed. Sad.

That is sad. I’ve never ridden the train in the snow either. Both times in September. Did some jeep trailing too. Lovely area and such nice people. Southwest Colorado is absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend it as a tourist destination!
PS: Amtrak across Colorado west of Denver is a beautiful ride too. Outstanding scenery.

Mornin’ All. Freezing here……….down to 54*. There is going to be a lot of complaining today for sure. LOL. I got a deal on half off of Hello Fresh. It is a company that sends you the ingredients for a meal and you cook it. I got my shipment yesterday and it was so much fun cooking when all the ingredients were there. I made a Turkey White Bean Chili. It was delicious. What a mistake!! Now I want to take it every week. They send 3 meals each week. It actually is too expensive for me to use it. But, they sure met their advertising. Oh, and I can make two more meals out of the chili I made yesterday.
Well, lunch and a movie today. We are going to see that new Spiderman movie. I have to try not to snore through it. But, then, we are going to our favorite restaurant, Abeulos. Have a nice day.

I did one of those meal kit deals once. They are nice, but pricey for one person. I’m making chili today, but from scratch.
It’s 28 degrees here right now, so the snow isn’t melting. It will be a bit warmer tomorrow (not much) but it will be snowing again.

Mornin’ all ya’all! Froze down to 27* last night, frost on the grass and windshields. Supposed to reach 54* today once the sun comes out. I’ve been covering shifts for a therapist who started a vacation then got sick, so I’ve worked every day since a Thursday. This is interfering with my retirement….
