Stellars…home is where the heart is….

Greek Revival home in Millbrook, New York…

Ultra-modern home named La Héronnière in Wentworth, Ontario, Canada…

    Victorian home, Newport, New Jersey…

    Have an architecturally satisfying day!

I knew a woman who went on vacations in specific areas so she could take tours of architecturally significant houses. NO National Park Service has a walking tour of Victorian and other interesting houses in Uptown.

Good day, czarina! When on vacation I usually took photos of interesting houses and buildings. Somewhere in my collection there are photos of me nonchalantly walking up the paths to various front doors making it look like I was visiting the residents. No one ever came out and asked what we were doing. LOL!

The first time I went to Honolulu (mid-70s), I took photos of the old buildings downtown, most–if not all–of which likely have been torn down. I’m sure I prefer what it looked like then and not how they have overbuilt the city and entire island now.

Mike Rowe’s Awesome Response on Whether He Would Urge Americans to Get Vaccinated
    August 6, 2021 –

Rowe started off by saying that he was vaccinated, but he wasn’t going to dispense medical advise to anyone else. Not only that but he regretted the PSAs that he did appear in early on when lockdowns were being pushed to not overrun the hospitals and all we needed was “two weeks to flatten the curve.” He did one where he spoke about all of us being in the same boat, but now said he was quite wrong – that while we were in the same storm, we were not all in the same boat. Some prospered during this time, others hung on for dear life. So he said he wasn’t going to preach anything now, but just say there’s a risk with anything getting vaccinated and not getting vaccinated.

Morning all. Aus, I found several things I wanted to try on the earthly site. Also trying the lotion since the magnesium cream we use is no longer available. Thanks for the recommendation.

Hope you all have more exciting weekends planned than I do.

I picked up some extra canned good yesterday to add to my little emergency stash. I have a very small kitchen, so some of them will have to go in my extra room..That is part of what I will be doing today. I can’t stand it all piled up on my small counter in my kitchen. Unfortunately, the room is upstairs so it will probably take most of the day to get it done, since I will have to rest after every couple of trips. LOL

    Good morning everyone,

It’s refreshing to see beauty, humor, and heartfelt discussion among stellar people. Thanks to all those who make appearances here. Your posts are the steady stream that make this blog a bit of a visit with friends. I learn something new quite often.

I appreciate that, and the effort it takes to maintain a blog over many years.

I don’t know why, but every one of your comments ends up in the moderation queue, and I have to manually approve them.

I’m sorry, but I just wanted you to know that it isn’t me who is moderating your comments.

I had a blog of sorts via Twitter catering to the sports world re religion. It was then I realized being a blogger having to monitor and be prepared for reactions, etc. wasn’t for me. A LOT OF WORK and you either do it or you run out screaming into the night.

My hat’s off to anyone who can maintain a blog, website, whatever, where you have to interact with the general public.

Mornin’ All. Sunny, humid, and hot here. It stormed last night and around 11:00 when we were ready to go to bed it was pouring. I put Loki out the door and she made a u-turn to come back in. It took three tries and finally I got an umbrella and she knew I was serious. So, we both ended up wet. I had to dry her off and she was soaked. Then I had to change my night clothes. We both slept really well, though. LOL Hope everyone has a sunny weekend.

I hardly watch the TeeVee much anymore, so I wanted to throw this out to those in the know. With Mike Lindell feuding with Fox, has he pulled his advertising from them yet? I know that you often buy time quite a ways in advance. Just wondering about things that aren’t really that important. Mornin’ all. Coffee’s flowing this morning. 😉

An op-ed by Dr. Malone and Peter Navarro. Not that the mainstream will pay any attention, but it’s worth about 2:00 of your time. Spread it around.

Super article, texan! I sent to a pal who has a huge email list and he sent it out. Thanks!

Here’s another article along the same lines, starring the CDC’s Walensky…

CDC Director Changes Her Story, Now Admits COVID Vaccines Don’t Prevent Virus Transmission
by Kyle Becker – updated about 4 hours ago

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky has touted the COVID vaccines as a means to keep the public safe from the coronavirus. However, it turns out that the vaccines don’t even prevent transmission of the virus, throwing into question whether taking the vaccines is a matter of public health, rather than a matter of personal choice.

On Friday, Walensky made the admission to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that the COVID vaccines, which are still under Emergency Use Authorization, don’t perform as well as advertised.

G’Evenin’ Stella, Stellars. Ya, I’m still here, back to haunt you again.

Insalubrious Grandson, who now lives in Greensboro (NC) with his parents, drove up into my driveway this afternoon in a strange car and was standing at my side door with Mattie, his “friend” from high school years (friend? uh huh {rolls eyes}). Imagine my shock. My hair, though clean, was not even combed (I was busy…).

My browser was open to Stella’s post on the Infrastructure Bill. Being Gen Z, I was surprised IG and Mattie even knew about this bill. But oh yes, they knew all about it, and more.

They couldn’t care less about Critical Race Theory. They are into Critical Generation Theory, and they are coming for the Boomers.
Guess IG spent way too much time around Evil GMa.
Pity is the best I can muster for those in the way of these Gen Zers and their friends. They’ve no intention of being “Russian serfs, owning nothing and liking it by 2030.” What fun ahead!
    Have a Blessed Evening
