Good Morning, I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day. A lot of rain delays at race tracks this weekend and one conversation we kept coming back to was Memorial Day parades, I spent years marching in Drum Corps and we would march in 2-3 parades every Memorial Day, now it would appear “What town still has a Memorial Parade” is a trivia question. So I ask….

Mornin’ All. Weather here is the usual, sunny, humid and hot. Weather guessers teased us with the prospect of rain, but I think I will water anyway, 🙄 My friend and I are going to one of those free lunches. We really like the ladies who hold these and always learn something at the same time. I have to keep an eye on the clock so the time doesn’t get away from me. Hope you all have a nice day. 🙂

They haven’t had any in NO for the past year. They were at great restaurants like Commander’s Palace and Antoine’s, sponsored by the big hospitals, Big Pharma or medical device manufacturers. They were not free, but we’re at greatly reduced cost.

The one time we went to a seminar at the fancy hotel here that has expensive, very good food, the food was terrible. They had it catered from somewhere else and I couldn’t even find anything to eat. We now ignore that company’s invitations.

Morning’s Wee and all ya’all. Hot, getting humid. Running many errands today, then gotta mow the yard and vacuum the house. Planning on a baked potato with cottage cheese for dinner, with strawberry pie for dessert.
