Mornin’ Lucille, Wee, and all. Had a mild storm go through this morning and it is sprinkling a little now. The street is flooded.from the rain because the drain is clogged. Loki let me sleep in until 9:00 today. We have an appt. with a vet tomorrow. But, she is eating and everything is being processed well and deposited in the grass the way it should be, so her digestion seems okay. Having lunch with my friend today and since I got up so late, I will have to go. So, later alligators.

I scanned your post and somehow got alligators mixed in with Loki’s walk! EEK! But, having lived in Florida, I would not be surprised if you saw one (or more).

LOL. No, no alligators in the walk. But, they could be in the lake here, although it is really shallow. And, I understand if management finds out there is one of a certain size, they have it taken out.

Good morning, aus! Sun is out and a mild breeze is wafting over the newly mowed grass and cleaned-out, trimmed garden areas. Finally, our property management brought the gardeners in and the place looks worth the money again. The gardeners worked for around five hours getting it shipshape.
Hope you had good lunch and that Loki is perking up. She’ll probably be perfectly OK when you see the vet and the vet will look at you like “really!” LOL!

LOL. VERY likely about the vet. Our lunch was wonderful. I had fried shrimp that was the best I have ever had, hushpuppies, fries, and a really yummy slaw. Also, it was a really classy place, very simple and comfortable.

Beautiful bracelet, Lucille. I, too, am a big fan of turquoise. Had no idea some of it is glued-together powder! Maybe you can help me. I would love to find a men’s bolo tie with a nice-sized silver and turquoise slide (about 3″ x 2″) and silver tips to the black braid. Any idea where I could find a source?

The only time I gave a piece of turquoise to a boyfriend was back in the 70s. The stone was from Persia and he loved the ring. Wonder if he still wears it. LOL!

I was living in S. Cal. back in the 70’s and we traveled a lot in the deserts. I could always find turquoise jewelry, but it was always in silver. I finally found a little ring with a chunk of turquoise in a cute gold setting. It was handmade by the Indians in that area. I have never regretted buying it.

I had heard this and heard this, but never actually saw an article confirming it. According to CBS, you can get $9,000 free money for your loved one’s funeral if they died from the corona. Really? I”ll bet the number of deaths mysteriously doubles or triples in the next week.

Must have COVID on the death certificate. Decedent must be citizen of US or (amazingly) a legal resident alien. Had to have died since last March. Will only reimburse up to the amount spent for the funeral expenses, less any other insurance or government payment.

I’ll guarantee you that those 500,000 deaths will get a check of some sort. I haven’t heard of an illegal dying from this stuff yet. Let’s say they all get 5k. That’s $2.5B. That big gubmint check of $255 ain’t paying for much. Why exactly should I be paying for someone else’s funeral. Nobody gonna send Mrs. T a check when I keel over.
