Good day to you, WeeWeed! For sure both women have personality disorders. Narcissism: “selfishness, involving a sense of entitlement, a lack of empathy, and a need for admiration, as characterizing a personality type.”

Ono got hubby strung out on heroin so she could control him. If he was good and did what she wanted, he got a fix. If he displeased her, she would withhold the drug and make him beg and promise to be good.

Markle got her boy to not just give up his family but to diss them in public and in doing so she got what she wanted–an isolated and controlled husband. This is an appalling bit of character assassination since the family doesn’t comment regarding negative stories about themselves.

The following is an excellent American Thought Leaders interview by Jan Jekielek along a similar line of where our culture is going with PC demands, accusations of racism and character assassination.

Mornin’ friends. Well, 11:30 Alaska time, so barely. I bring a bit of a heavy heart this morning. Iditarod started Sunday afternoon, and of course I’ve been watching it closely. Feels very weird this year. The race is not going to Nome. Instead they are going to the half-way point at the ghost town of Iditarod and then turning around and going back to the start. No Yukon River, no Bering Sea coast, no small Native villages. Without those things, it’s a race but it ain’t the Iditarod! Second big thing is that my good friend Aliy Zirkle declared a month or so ago that this would be her last Iditarod. She is retiring from competitive mushing after 21 Iditarods. It is hard to imagine the race without her.

And the main big thing is that Aliy was injured last night on the trail and had to scratch from the race. All I know is that somewhere between Rainy Pass (at the top of the Alaska Range) and Rohn (at the bottom) she crashed and sustained a head concussion and orthopedic injuries to her upper body. She was Medevac’d to Anchorage from the checkpoint at Rohn. The dogs are apparently fine, and being cared for by volunteers at Rohn until they can be flown back to Anchorage. She was discharged from the hospital this morning and is resting in Anchorage with family. So far that is all I know. I join lots of her fans in praying for a speedy recovery.

Afternoon All. Sunny and hot here with a little bit of a breeze. I had to get up and get going this morning. I took Loki for her morning walk and then came back and had a cup of tea and a piece of toast. Then I went to my friend’s house and from there we went to a seminar on Retirement Savings. My money is taken care of and hers needs an adjustment. We always get invited to these even though we have been so much. So, free lunch.

Hope you all had a great day. You might have if you didn’t watch any of the news.

Good afternoon, aus! It’s a beautiful day in our part of the Panhandle, with the sun shining and just a teensy bit of nip in the air. The day was predicted to be rainy…not so far.

Free lunches are always fun, especially when they come with some sound advice and a helpful atmosphere. Of course it wouldn’t hurt to have good looking male servers either…hope yours added to the conviviality.

Snowin’ and blowin’ here, as the saying goes. White stuff’s been coming down all night and morning and looks socked in and not quitting any time soon. DH was out yesterday raking snow pack off the roof. It’s 3 feet deep and he’s concerned about the load. Now he’s got to go shovel out the berms he created so we can get the car out of the garage. At least we finally have a garage; after 23 years in Alaska, this is my first! And at least it is not too cold, despite the snowfall. Consistently hanging right at +20, which is quite tolerable. Hope you are all having a lovely early spring afternoon. I’m dreaming of it!

Poor dogs…they are expendable because of behavior which could easily corrected if Bide-Harr used some of that ill-gotten Chinese cash to hire a trainer to work with Major….

They should have sent Bide-Harr back to Delaware and kept the dogs.

There was a pic of the two dogs lying on rugs before the Resolute Desk, and someone, and for the life of me cannot remember who, anyways someone commented that the dogs did not look well taken care of, especially the brown one, with no shiny brushed coats, etc.

Whoever it was took much heat for the comments, but whoever said it refused to back down.
      Seems Forever-Remaining-Nameless was correct.
Would wager doggos are happier not being around some mean old guy who pulls their tail.

And good on him for not backing down.

Arizona and Montana Take Legal Action Against Biden Admin ICE Arrest Regulations
By SAMUEL ALLEGRI March 9, 2021

Arizona and Montana are taking legal action (pdf) to block new Biden administration immigration regulations, saying that these would cause negative consequences for the states.

The new rules would limit the capability of ICE to detain some illegal immigrants unless they pose a threat to national security, entered through the border after Nov. 1, or committed aggravated felonies.
