The “debate” will probably continue for many hours. I don’t think a vote will take place until late tonight.

I guess I will find out in the morning, it will probably be past my bedtime. That is unless the rioting awakens me early.

I’ve noticed that POTUS will be back in DC in the early evening. Maybe he plans on being at the swearing in tonight.

Lou Dobbs will be covering the vote during Mr Dobbs’ 7 p.m. show tonight with Rep Devin Nunes, and Labor Sec Eugene Scalia, the late Justice Scalia’s son.
(who names their kid Eugene???!?!?!)
Last i heard, VP Pence plans to be in the Senate to handle the vote, or whatever it is a VP does in the Senate.
Should be interesting. Or, more probably, entertaining.
Sure hope they swear in the Glorious ACB tonight. Justice Thomas is the best choice anyone could pick, other than Justice Scalia.

The VP can break a tie, if it happens.

That much i knew, but there must be something else the VP does. I just have no idea what!

Tie-breaking might be the only Constitutional duty for the VP.

The VP used to be a dead-end job. Teddy Roosevelt was selected as the VP running-mate to get him out of the way where he could not upset the apple cart so to speak.
Then their worst fears became real when McKinley was assassinated.
