While filming the national anthem for Portland State University’s virtual commencement ceremonies on the South Park Blocks in downtown Portland, a stranger asked if they could sing with PSU graduate Madisen Hallberg. We thought, “Why not?” Turns out the “stranger” was Emmanuel Henreid, a classically trained singer, dancer, actor and pianist who goes by “Onry.” He currently sings for the Portland Opera, Maui Opera Co, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Gospel Choir Kingdom Sound, & teaches students around the Globe.

Considering the past few years or so, I tend to agree with this.

It’s baaack! Strange, but being unable to view anything other than what you personally type, the balloons and YouTube vids has returned when I use Google Chrome. When I use Safari, no links except YouTubes work. So if I’m going to view the “Good News” I use Safari and if I want to click on the links (absent Twitter vids), I use Google. LOL!
Not being able to view anything from Twitter is also the case at CTH. I can see the moniker of the person posting, but nothing after that until “like” and “reply.” When I can get someone to assist me, I’m going down to Apple and get new everything.

Have the same prob, but w/diff browsers & OS.
Opera shows everything, but Firefox only shows some words and urls. But WordPress only allows me to fully log on in Firefox, from time to time, in order to comment and once in a while “like.”
Very strange.

Cannot remember why Niagara Falls was diverted, but – as said in the tweet – engineering. Dad, and I, of course, followed the engineering every day.

Great bunch of items today. I clearly remember the falls being stopped. I was fascinated! Originally they wanted to take out many of the rocks from landslides which were adding up to eventually make the falls into rapids, but it proved too expensive. The falls moves back toward the Great Lakes at about 4 inches in 10 years, so it will be thousands of years before it stops being falls. Sorry, three falls: American Falls, Horseshoe Falls and Bridal Veil Falls.
