Boy I wish we had those neat toys when we were discussing property issues with Charlie. Then again they’re, both sides, still using basically the same battle rifles we were using over 50 years ago…the rifles held up better than we did.

Mornin’ Czar, everyone. Going to be a hot, muggy, sunny day here I guess. Going out to lunch with my friend. Still, glad I live in FL. I hope people in other states speak up about their home incarcerations.

Mornin’ all ya’all! Weather like Aus has. Not going out to lunch, or anywhere today, but Czar is complaining of cabin fever so he may go to the dump….

92 here today but a dry heat so it wasn’t quite as miserable as it could have been though it’s working on it for tomorrow.

I like this idea. At least do it part of the time.

I love this idea, and I think that people would ask questions that are relevant and give us information, instead of just set up today’s battle.

This is truly frustrating and sad. I’m sure we all know someone like this.

I’ve got another movie recommendation. It is not a heavy movie, funny but not hysterical, and sweet and touching at the end. It stars Ricky Gervais and Tea Leoni. This dentist who doesn’t like people dies when he gets a colonoscopy and is brought back, changing his life.

Did they put the colonoscope in his Adam Schiff?

I have some ciabatta bread in the oven. If it turns out well, I’ll share the video/recipe.

It is tasty and pretty easy to make. Also faster than the usual method.

Did you bake it in a flower pot?

No, silly.

One of the ways to bake it or peasant bread and get a good crust is in a clay flower pot. I like it in large muffin tins to get a ciabatta roll.

These are small free-form loaves.

Just as good. I prefer smaller loaves as they’re easier to hold in your hand, require no prep and give you an excuse to eat the whole thing.

There was an update on that Bogalusa, Louisiana mass shooting on MLK Boulevard last Sunday. Latest figures on the illegal attendees is approximately 800 – that’s an ‘8’ with two zeroes, no error there – gathered in a smallish park. The state is in Phase 1 but there are still no mass gatherings allowed and certainly not 800 in a park where you couldn’t get social distancing without vertical layering.
It’s estimated that folks came from around the county and the crowd was so large and concentrated that neighbors who generally don’t hear or see nuffin called the police to report the noisy mob. Cops didn’t make it before the shooting occurred – I’d check with the neighbors to see if any of them scared of the possibilities of mass infection hosed the gathering.
We’re watching the reported figures for the surrounding counties, especially ours, to see if the infections rise over the next couple of weeks. So much for responsibility.

We went to one of our favorite restaurants today. We were hoping they would be able to stay open, but were informed that they are giving up. They said they had already been struggling, and they think it just isn’t worth it with their customers being cut back so much. 😦
