Who was she? According to Wikipedia:

Eleanor Jean Parker (June 26, 1922 – December 9, 2013) was an American actress who appeared in some 80 movies and television series. An actress of notable versatility, she was called Woman of a Thousand Faces by Doug McClelland, author of a biography of Parker by the same title.

She played “The Baroness” (Elsa Schraeder) in The Sound of Music.

    The thought of cancelliing Sturgis really is truly frightening. One might choose Wuhan CCP Virus over that.
    We were taught about the first slaves being white Irish. This was before the Communists took over our schools.
    That pic of the Soviet school students sure looked alot like us at Parris Island. We were the first series to ever touch a rifle or pistol, and the (male) DIs had no idea how to do weapons training to a bunch of girls lol. We did the DIs proud at the Congressional dog and pony show.
