    Not one of our cats had any interest in our turkey, either before or after cooking. Seafood, however, is a totally different thing. We got thru Thanksgiving dinner without any cat interference.

      Our Lacey doesn’t like seafood! The only cat in my life I’ve ever seen that will turn up her nose. She loves all poultry, and would eat the parrot if she thought he wouldn’t bite her. She also likes beef, if you cut it tiny for her. She’s a picky one.

        Ours will eat beef, but only if offered, they won’t push for it. If I boil shrimp they’re right there though. Sole exception is the outsidecat who likes dried food and some small amounts of beef but if it comes down to it he’ll stick with dry food and wildlife tartare.

      Every year after Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners my brother soaked for an hour in a warm bathtub, to relieve the discomfort. Must have felt like that….
