Hello Stella, The man who designed the Model T, Model A, and the infamous 32 Duece Coup was a Hungarian immigrant named Joesph Galamb. In 1943 he suffered a heart attack and was told by his doctors that he could no longer put in the hours at Ford as he had always done. Henry Ford offered him the opportunity to work from home and he took it, at which point he was making mre money working from home than the U.S. Pres. at the time.

Henry Ford was truly a paradox. I have a photo of Ford, Edison,Pres. Harding, and Firestone sitting around a campfire. I often daydream about what those conversations must have been like.

He capitalized, if you’ll excuse the expression, on repairs. All of the parts came off of one dedicated line but the ones sent out for repair were priced far more than the identical ones used to build a car. It insured an almost endless revenue stream off of a single car beyond its purchase price. It’s continued to this day by the car makers patenting their parts to basically prevent non-dealers from getting them, or getting them at a decent price, for quite a few years.

And I won’t even get into the personal and marketing data they pull from customers through the modems they have built into new cars. GPS data on where you go, at what speed, how often and how long you stay. Your phone data, who you talk to and how long. Your texts and whatever other information you have that they can harvest when you give their systems access to the files on your phone. We just bought a new Chevy and the dealers turned hand flips trying to get us to activate the OnStar – I thought we’d end up being off of GMC’s Christmas card list. They weren’t happy – they could remotely activate it but if they did and we somehow found out there’d be liability issues.

For those of you who have had the Libertarian party in your state for awhile are they always batshit crazy?
That’s probably not nice to say, but these folks in this state this year are just as nuts as progressives. They keep posting on a conservative facebook group and it’s constant attacks on Trump, singing the praises of Nike and Colin, our country is full of white soldiers and cops going around killing innocent brown people, pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-transgenders in girl’s school bathrooms, pro-Islam, pro-dreamers, pro-illegal immigration because if they’re in our state that makes them Oklahoma citizens, which since conservatives are anti all their pros we’re evil Christians. Oh I forgot their biggest number of posts, Pot, pot and more pot, but don’t call it pot because that offends them, it’s cannabis.

Our libertarians are for legalized drugs, not too rough on President Trump but absolutely not in his camp.

My beef with them is that they are ALL calling the economy a bubble, saying PT has caused it and it’s all coming tumbling down. They never say why, and they never say what exactly does cause a thriving economy and when it is real.

And they are Ron and Rand Paul fanboys who, for all their claims to just stating the truth about President Trump and the economy, never once believe that either of the Paul’s have ever done wrong.

I really ticked them off when I told them you keep on telling people they don’t need to be Libertarian or don’t understand liberty then they will remain with 3556 in their party. They told me they had over 5000 registered and their percentage of voters was greater than either of the other two parties.

The one who won the nomination argues in favor of abortion by using the old and tired “back alley” abortions. To give him some credit he does say the government shouldn’t be paying for them. He also gets credit for getting it constitutionally correct by saying it should be a state issue and he wouldn’t like what this state would choose.
The problem is very few hear the rest of what he says because he starts off with if abortions were illegal we’d go back to a horrible time of back alley abortions.

He told me he stands for liberty. So I asked him liberty for some but not others? If you tell me I must accept murdering babies, going against my morals and beliefs by putting my mark of approval on gay weddings, must allow men dressed as women to share a bathroom with me and daughter and granddaughter, must accept illegals as citizens and turn the other cheek when they kill American citizens, must call Islam a religion of peace and welcome them with open arms to cut my head off then I’m not seeing much liberty.
Then he told me I was being irrational.

We were at the county fair today so my grandson could do the peewee pig showman show. One of the booths was a pro-life Christian group that had life size babies at different stages in Utero.
I overheard a little girl who looked to be about 12 or 13 ask the lady which baby was 12 weeks, she pointed it out to her and told her that was the size she was at one time and isn’t amazing how she once was that size in her mommy’s tummy.
The little girl said her friend’s sister had an abortion at 12 weeks and she wonders if she knew it was a little tiny baby.
                    I couldn’t stop the tears.
Exactly how can you appear rational to a person who thinks anyone has the right to murder a baby?
That’s pretty much a no go for me, if you feel anyone has the right to murder a baby. I certainly could never cast a vote for you.

The Chicago Museum of Science & Industry had an exhibit of actual babies in the various stages of development. I don’t know if it is still there. Probably not. A guy on FB made a comment about a 21 week fetus. I posted a picture, and a description, commenting that a few babies that age can live if born. Not many, but some. I also mentioned that you can hear the baby’s heart beating about 6 weeks, but that it starts beating at 3-4 weeks. Not forgetting that there is unique DNA. How can anyone compare a baby to a tumor? A sick one, or an ignorant one, that’s who.

I personally believe babies are covered under our Constitution under Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness.
Then if they want to carry it farther, abortion just like marriage is not mentioned so that leaves it to the states to decide. SCOTUS violated the Constitution when they decided both of these cases.

Marijuana:Marijuana must be legalized, nobody should ever be jailed again and it is not a gateway drug.
Immigration:All immigrants are welcome and are citizens when they step on our soil, especially Mexicans.
Muslims:Muslims are a great addition to our country and Islam is a religion of peace.
Marriage Equality:LGBT should have all rights as any other orientation and businesses and Churches should treat them as any other orientation.
blM: Black lives do matter and blacks have been treated as second class citizens long enough.

It’s actually good to know since they’re starting to run for more offices since they got back on the ballot. I don’t want to vote for a progressive democrat who doesn’t like taxes and wants to own a gun.

Former Trump Aide Says He Knows Who Wrote Op-ed, Drops Hints About ‘Her’ Identity

    https://townhall.com/tipsheet/cortneyobrien/2018/09/06/michael-caputo-on-oped-writer-its-a-woman-n2516368

Former Donald Trump campaign aide and political strategist Michael Caputo says he knows who wrote the mysterious “resistance” op-ed in The New York Times. It’s a she.

“I know it’s a woman,” he said during an interview on Buffalo’s WBEN 930 am. “I’m being cautious. My attorney is keeping me from saying her name but yes I believe it’s a woman. I believe I know who it is.”

What he can reveal, is that she is a “coward” who “should have stood up and resigned.”

The Trump administration “is filled with people like her,” he continued. “There are active programs” to stop Trump loyalists from joining the White House and to purge Trump loyalists from agencies, he alleged.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.

I’m not sure which thread to post on this evening, but I have found over the last five years that I have become fond of each and everyone of you and as the voice here on the State of Montana, I feel that I’ve failed twice in not being in attendance at the President Trump MAGA rallies and reporting back on the wonderful MAGA agenda. I apologize.

I’ve just returned from a 10 hour drive that ended at a American Foreign Legion Hall and a funeral that I needed to attend. The drive was in the opposite direction from the Billings rally and I couldn’t make both events.

As a perfect ending to this week s/…I came home, went to the bedroom to change out of my funeral clothes and lo and behold, Squeaks left me a dead mouse right in the middle of my pillow.
