    Something I posted next door – in a bad place for it to be seen – that I thought I’d put here and tweak just a hair (I added the pay for NASA astronauts at the Colonel rank – usually the highest rank you’d find as a NASA astronaut.
    In discussing the poor, disenfranchised and put upon black NFL players I thought I’d do a small chart to see how these victims stack up.

    US President’s yearly salary: $400,000
    Chaiman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff: $220,734
    US Brain/Neurosurgeon median salary: $395,000
    NASA Rocket Scientist: $108,000
    NASA Astronaut:
    Civilian at the GS-12 level: $82,680
    Civilian at the GS-13 level: $98,317
    NASA Astronaut:
    Military, Colonel (highest rank that would regularly fly) 20 years service: $123,552

    Morning Everyone……. water for Teais slowly boiling, and the Coffee is hot and ready. I’ll take first watch on the rack, threat is low.
    The meteor shower tonight, Perseids, look too the north east about an hour after sundown. The real action is around 0200 too sunup. Reports of 30-50 meteors per hour………

    Morning all 🙂
    Today’s horse is the English Shire horse. These beautiful horses have exceptional power and strength combined with a willing temperament and are well known for their densely feathered lower limbs and Roman nose. Shires stand between 16 and 17 hands and weigh around 2000-2400 lbs. The tallest horse ever recorded is a Shire horse called Noddy, who stands at 20.2 hands = 82 inches = 6’10”. Their great strength and size enabled them to be used in mediaeval times as a war horses as they could easily carry all the armour and would of been quite an impressive sight. Later on they were used on the canals and for working the land and forests, as well as in towns for deliveries. ~ h/t equestrianandhorse dot com.

    I’m watching Cavuto Live, hosted by Trish Regan and she is interviewing Burgess Owens about his new book Why I Stand. I was following along with him about the football players being used by the left until Trish pointed out that he was accusing the owners of being the ones who were doing the using. He implied that they are pushing these guys to kneel, which makes no sense at all to me. He says some contradictory things, like all the owners are interested in is money and something about them being globalists and wanting to ruin American football so they can tap into the Chinese market. 🙄

    We went to see Three Identical Strangers today. I didn’t realize it was a documentary, but it was very good. It starts off very happy and lighthearted, but it does get dark. Some people may remember the story of the triplets finding each other, I think it was back in the early 80’s. This also covers the rest of the story up to this date. It is a reminder that we need to stamp out evil when we find it.

    Walmart strikes again.
    I bought two boxes of rifle ammo today and the cashier at the sportying goods register asked for my ID. I asked why I needed to show ID and she said Walmart’s told the styores that as now the age to buy guns has risen to 21 they have to card every ammo buyer who doesn’t look 50. Both I and the white-haired guy next to me looked at oneanother and just shrugged.
    Previously when I’d bought 9mm ammo I asked ‘why they needed to see my ID’ and they said it was a blanket policy that anyone buying ammo for a pistol needed to show ID to prove age. I said that the ammo was for a 9mm Marlin camp carbine which isn’t a pistol, it’s a rifle. (boing, sproing sound of springs becoming unsprung). I showed my ID anyway.
    About 15 minutes later andv feeling impish I went back and bought some .223 ammo. When she didn’t ask for my ID I asked why. She said that it only applied to ammunition to be fired in a pistol (as slowly as she said it I’m betting she knew something was afoot). I told her that the .223 was going in my AR-15 pistol, avrealpistol under ATF standards. More ‘bpoiiiing, sproiiiing so I just showed my ID and checked out. FIGHT THE SYSTEM!
