Mornin’ Miss Stella. Congratulations on your new place. I like it. It’s comfy and cozy and not quite so hectic. 🙂

I’ll be happy when it’s a bit more crowded but, yes, it’s cozy. Besides, it doesn’t hurt to have another place to go.

I remember when I first found the treehouse it was more cozy. Maybe a few more of the oldtimers will start coming around.

Long time ago, GF – a blog all of us mods were on (but not as mods.) The lady running it got mad at everyone one day and just pulled the plug. Deleted the whole site. Poof!! We all found each other again (eventually) on Lucianne.com.

WeeWeed’s referring to what happened to our original blog – Honey Trail – back in 2011. That’s what caused the Treehouse to come into existence. The woman who founded it decided one afternoon to delete the blog!

These grandsons sure bring a lot of happiness.
Mine can’t decide who I am, he calls me NaNa one day, MeMe the next, MaMaw the next and Nanny the next.
I’ve about got the house baby proof. Still working on teaching him the wood stove is hot, so he has to be watched like a hawk. He throws his toys on the rock in front of the fireplace and says, “get(which sounds more like dit),” and off he goes.
He says a lot we just don’t what he says. He has the many names for me, says PaPa, DaDa, MaMa, duck, dog, get, no, yah, outside(tide), drink(nink), hi and bye. The rest we have no idea.

They are fun! Both of mine had a Mexican-born day care provider, and they also picked up Spanish words – mas and leche are the two I remember, off hand. The older one also attended a Spanish-immersion daycare, and he spoke fluent Spanish at age five. No more.

Mine loves women, he’s not a fan of most men, but he loves almost every woman he meets. Which isn’t always a good thing when we take him out in public, because he wants to touch them as well as jabber to them. So you always have to make sure you’re not within his reach or he will grab them.
My daughter and I went to the store yesterday and this kind of snobby looking woman thought she needed to look at something next to the basket and he grabbed the string on her hood that fell in his reach. I immediately took his hand away and told him no that we don’t grab people and apologized to her. Although, she was the one who got into his space. She gave him and me a dirty look.
Which means I have to learn to not say things in front of him, because I told my daughter what a hateful hag she was and maybe she shouldn’t be so rude and she wouldn’t be touched. Which caused him to shake his finger at her back while he was jabbering ninety miles an hour.

He’s a good baby out in public, with the exception of he’s always smiling and jabbering at everyone and he likes to touch.lol Some folks though so dislike babies even the smiling and jabbering makes them mad.

I understand some people just don’t like kids, heck I don’t like kids who are screaming and crying or running around like hoodlums.lol
I’ve noticed something different now compared to when my kids were babies, more people honestly act like they hate the sight of babies. They literally frown when he’s smiling at them and that’s hard for me to understand. I see a baby smiling and it brings a smile to my face. Women are worse than men, most men when they see him smiling come up and talk to him and it seems to brighten their day. He’ll keep smiling at them as long as they don’t touch him. Most older women are the same and them he reaches for and wants them to pick him up, but women under 50 seem to act like he just ruined their whole day by smiling at them.

My daughter is always worried about annoying people, but I tell her all the time, teach him not to be a brat and with age he’ll learn not to touch people, but they can just get over being annoyed about him being happy. That’s their problem not his or yours.

I agree, I’m often called cold hearted, but a smiling baby or a playing puppy melts the ice. Put a baby and a puppy together I’m a pile of mush.

Eyewitnesses tell us six to eight men apparently of Middle Eastern descent speaking Arabic wanted to sit together on the plane and were telling other passengers to move. Passengers say it caused a commotion on the flight and made people uneasy. They say the captain decided to remove the men.

Passenger Michael Hust said, “The uneasiness for me sitting behind them that they were just constantly looking around trying to figure out where everyone was sitting and it was kind of like, hey, we are all going to the same place.”

Yeah, that and the TSA are the reasons I haven’t flown since 2004. So far, I haven’t needed to (fortunately).

I’m going to fool around with data mining stuff this morning. I’ll put in in a spreadsheet I guess. But since it’s just receipts I can’t imagine it’s going to be useful to feed it into something for big data analytics. We can get a bunch of pretty graphs and stuff but I’m not sure it’s worth it. What do you think stalla?

I got them for the night. David is out on a rock run on the new tug, making sure the first run goes okay and Alex was having a bad day, so was Mason. So I took her supper, a bottle of wine, and picked the kids up. So she has an almost alone night if Conner sleeps well. He usually does. She was thrilled and we are having a blast.

Sadie has glowing bones on her pajamas and she is growling and scaring us. We have to run from the bone monster!

Nah, I just remember how overwhelmed I felt at times and her three are closer in age than my boys were. She’s a wonderful mother who has had a rough few months.

Besides it’s such fun to have them. I’ll be glad when Conner can spend the night. I doubt I’ll often take 3 at once though.

I had my mother and the world’s best MIL to help me out. Alex lost her mom shortly after they married. The first week or so of December.
