One of the rarest moons of the decade is rising over Earth tonight.
On May 30–31, the second full moon of the month will grace the sky, creating what is known as a Blue Moon. This uncommon event occurs only about once every two and a half years. After this weekend, the next monthly Blue Moon will not appear until December 2028.
An excellent analysis by Susan Kokinda of Promethean Action.
As part of his response to Maria Bartiromo, Jamie Dimon mentions the book, Freedom’s Forge. It is a book that I first read in 2012, have written about before, and highly recommend. As Susan Kokinda points out, Freedom’s Forge describes what the American System was, and (God willing) will be again. If not for the “Arsenal of Democracy”, the United States and its European allies would not have won in WWII.
The American System is not just smart economically, but key to our defense, and preserving the American way of life. Something that can – and should – be restored. “Made In America” must be more than just a slogan.
I watched the Miranda Devine podcast with Newt last night (Pod Force One), and it was pretty interesting. My mother loved “Mr. Newt” and I can understand why. I don’t buy his entire shtick, but he’s a clever politician with a historical background. He predicts that Trump will break the left with a midterm victory, IF the price of gasoline goes down. I’ll link it below.
First, though, here’s Newt’s X post from yesterday:
Text:
After spending this week reviewing the Iranian war I am now convinced President Trump is on the edge of an historic victory. The real breakthrough for me came as I reviewed President Trump’s decisions and maneuvers not from the standpoint of American unilateralism but from the standpoint of the leader of a remarkable historic coalition, the largest coalition ever put together in the modern Middle East.

Watch: Blue Origin New Glenn rocket explodes on Cape Canaveral launch pad during test
“We experienced an anomaly during today’s hotfire test. All personnel have been accounted for. We will provide updates as we learn more,” Blue Origin posted on X.
Video captured by Spaceflightnow.com and posted to X showed the rocket stage standing vertical on the pad at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Launch Complex 36 become engulfed in flames. The fireball expands out and covers the entire launch pad as the fuselage of the rocket can be seen crumbling into the flames.
