It’s finally Friday! Good morning everyone. I found some sourdough cruffins with lemon curd filling. Just happen to have a lot of lemons on hand right now, so it must have been on my mind. Have a great day.

Good mornin’, Menage! I’ll take a couple to start my day. Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good mornin’, and happy Friday! So glad that I’m not in the political polling business when I woke up today. I found another fancy coffee pot to end this week with. I don’t think it’s in a museum, but it could be. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Another polling firm admits they made things up. Wanna bet there will be more “found out”?

If you’ve studied statistics much, I don’t know why you’d trust polls anyhow. And especially not in the media controlled world we live in.

Good afternoon, Tex,
Funny thing, they found Republicans funding polls. It’s “The Hill” so it’s less likely they’ll feature it across the aisle.
But, at least the alert to funding has been made. We’ll see if there is a bipartisan application.

Good afternoon, Aus!
I’ve heard about those! Don’t they call them by another name? Palmetto bugs?
Don’t want to scare the tourists?
LikeLiked by 2 people
The giant ones are usually palmetto bugs because they actually live in the palmetto bushes and come inside when somebody messes with the bush. Mostly the pest guys just say to keep the bushes away from the house. Oh, and they do fly. 😯
Even the cats and dogs don’t want anything to do with them.

In Miami we called them cucarachas. I have to spray them until they die, because I cannot stand the crunch when I step on them. And a fly swatter doesn’t work.

National Senior Citizens’ Day
National Spumoni Day – another ice cream heard from. Actually gelato, with layers of semi-sweet chocolate, almond flavor and buts of chocolate
National Brazilian Blowouts Day – reduces frizzy hair
National Fantasy Football Draft Day – never cared, never will
Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism

Morning, czarina! Never tire of ice cream. I didn’t know that we seniors had a day of our own.

Seniors, since I are one. Mornin’ Czarina!

Oh, a day for me?!
Spumoni would be all right but I will pass on the buts of chocolate. 🙄
I’m with you on the football draft.
There have been so many victims of terrorism.

sorry for the typo. Bits of chocolate

Some days there would be nothing to laugh at if it weren’t for typos or autocorrect.

With typos, I usually laugh at myself, first.
Autocorrections, aren’t they helpful, irritating and sometimes amusing? Especially when autocorrect decides to correct a name. Some of the corrections are truly funny, although you would never let them pass.

Good afternoon, Wee!
There may be an interesting twist to this. Those who “self deport” have a chance to re-enter the country later. And if there was false information to gain a visa for Prince Harry (House of Whinger), it may be a way to assure their ability to re-enter the U.S. later.
Of course, Prince Harry might actually be concerned about his Father’s illness and his disassociation with his family. It would also be admirable change in behavior, if it is so. He may also genuinely miss England and his place in it.
One event that can serve many purposes.

I had a friend who said that during a storm her cat suddenly leapt up, started yowling, and ran to the only safe place in her house. She followed him. A tornado touched down somewhere near her. She was fine. She always said, “Follow the cat.”

Mornin’ All. Coolish but sunny here today.
It has been a busy week. I am staying home today and doing laundry and some housekeeping. Such fun.
Hope you enjoy the day.

Mornin’ mom! Good plan. I’m behind on the laundry. Yesterday I made chicken broth, baked banana bread, cleaned out the produce drawer, saving some aging carrots in the process.

They use goats in TN to get rid of the kudzu. They will eat it right down to the bare ground leaving no seeds or anything. Also, TN is very hilly and mountainous, and you can’t just go in there and mow. I also think there are problems with poisoning it.

I read something about that not long ago. May have been a YouTube video. Goats are amazing for many things.

Can somebody explain what is going on to me. Karmelo Anthony was found guilty and given 35 years and now his violent texts have come to light and they want to wipe out the verdict??? Unless they want to have another trial with the death penalty in play.
